elcome to our Aging Gracefully Issue. Life is too short and precious, unfortunately many people live as if they don’t seem to know this, until an unexpected illness or event occurs
—and although it is never too late to be a good steward and show gratitude – special moments and opportunities can be missed! The Bible teaches that old age is a blessing from God.
Proverbs 9:10-11 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. For by me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased.
Proverbs 3: 13,15-16 Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding. She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her. Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour.
Philippians 3:20-21 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
