Freestyle Clinic with Cynthia Collins at Winter Rose Equestrian

On Sunday, October 22nd, six of us came together to learn to dance and make our horses join in the fun! Winter Rose Equestrian hosted a freestyle clinic with Cynthia Collins. Cynthia is the owner of Luna Tunes Freestyles. She has created many award-winning freestyles for many of the top riders in the country. She is also a champion freestyle rider herself! Six riders participated in the one-day clinic: Kendall Brookhart, Alyssa Barngrover, Tania Radda, Christy Murphy, Michelle Mooney and me, Lori Hanes. Two of the participants, Kendall and Michelle, came to brush up their existing freestyles, which Cynthia had designed for them previously. Because they had done so well with their freestyles in this past California Region 7 Championships, they qualified for the Dressage National Championships in Kentucky, where they both Continued on page 5
