Everyone has a d other words, their “why.” Speaking personally and on behalf of RCP, our “why” comes from the countless stories we hear from those who attend our events and share their personal testimonials and sentiments of what a River City Pride event means to them. The stories of: “This is my first pride!” or “I’m not out to my family yet, but I feel safe here,” along with a favorite of ours “Thank you for making me feel seen. ” These sentiments of representation, emboldened vulnerability, and inclusivity are... Our “why.”
We are currently in the planning stages for our River City Pride Festival and Parade set for June 7, 2025, and this year, we are excited to build on our success in Downtown Evansville, IN! The move to Main Street was bold and calculated, as all growth should be, and we don’t plan to let off the accelerator We hope to keep showing the community that E truly is for Everyone
However, none of what we have done or dream of doing would come to fruition without the support and generosity of our regional corporate partners, local businesses, and individuals Without these donations, sponsorships, and investments in our mission, River City Pride would simply not be possible With that being said, we write to you in hopes that you will consider participation and support of this important event Our community is counting on us to give them hope, and we’d love to partner with YOU to do so.
