I added an adjustment layer to put a gradient and made the blending mode overlay. Then I used the quick select tool to select her shirt and I added an adjustment layer to put a pattern and made the blending mode screen

In photoshop, I used the lasso tool to select the hair in general and then I used the select and mask button to refine the hair selection.

I made an adjustment layer to add a gradient to the hair and made the blending mode “Color”.

Then I copied the layer mask and inverted it, I then cleaned up the selection.

In Photoshop, I used the quick selection tool to select parts of the statue that I wanted to change and added a selection mask to add an image or color layer on the selected portion. once I placed the image I used the warp tool on the image to make it blend naturally with the elements of the statue.

I used the clone stamp tool In Photoshop to select which bricks I wanted to use to cover the door. I select by holding alt and clicking on the bricks and then I paint on the door. I repeated this until I covered the door. I then used the clone stamp tool to select the space in between some bricks to clean up the blurriness. On another layer I used the brush tool to write my nickname and used the blending mode hard light to make it look realistic.

I used the pen tool to create shapes in the design. I used the direct selection tool to match the lines on the template image with the path I created. I also used the anchor point tool to create hybrid points for where a curved line suddenly became sharp. I filled in the shapes with colors similar to the image. I made a second layer for lines that do not connect into the shapes. I left the outlines as black because that is what the original image had.

This is a logo I made is for a jewelry company my friend is making. He asked me to make a design with some reference photos he wanted me to base the design from. I drew this design in an app similar to Photoshop to sketch. Then I placed the image into illustrator as a template and I used the auto-trace tool for the drawn part, changed the colors and added different fonts.

For this assignment I firt made a circle shape in Illustrator to match the template. then I made one bigger circle around the first to mach the template. After that I made 3 medium circles that attach to both circles. Once i did that I used the shape builder tool to remove certain lines to get my desired design. I added a gradient to all the individual shapes to make it look as close as I could to the example.

For my restaurant logo I picked Korean food because it is my favorite. I chose the name K-Cafe toto relate to Korean music known as K-pop. The logo has fishcake on a stick in the letter K because fish cake is traditional street food in Korea. I took some pictures of my favorite Korean dishes from google and put them in photoshop to change the color setting from RGB to CMYK and saved it as a PSD file to upload in illustrator. Then I put a blue background to contrast the colors on the food, and added the Korean flag in the top corners because it felt empty without it.
