Don Nead Celebrates 80th Birthday In Havana, Cuba

Don Nead celebrated his 80th Birthday on January 25 by traveling to Havana, Cuba, with his wife Lucille, daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Nathan Stewart, granddaughter Harper, and Nathan’s father, Ed Bussoni. Highlights of the trip included a tour of the city in a ‘52 Ford convertible, a delicious lunch at a café, and shopping. “The people are very friendly and the food is great – it was a really good day!” writes Don, shown here with his Advertiser so he could enter our “Take Us Along” contest. Don is a 1955 graduate of Covington High School and is a member of the Covington Eagles. He is a long-time resident of Merritt Island, Florida. His son, Pat, resides in Covington, and daughter Michelle lives in Mooresville, North Carolina. Mr. Nead will find his contest prize has been delivered to his mailbox one day soon!
