3 JINDAL HOSPITAL LOCATED IN HISAR. BUILT IN 1968 AND HAS BEEN EXPANDING SINCE THEN. SINCE IT IS A CHARITABLE HOSPITAL. MANY MEDICAL GUIDELINES WERE UPTO THE MARK THEREFORE RENVATIONS AND REDESIGNING WAS MUCH NEEDED. THE RENOVATIONS ARE PLANNED TO BE CARRIED OUT IN TWO PHASES. A concept that captures the rawness of a film studio and adds a hint of glamour, the design features a long, backlit bar and casual seating under hanging lights highlighted by a dark ceiling and grey walls with vintage reels.

The colors scheme chosen is warm and cozy The addition of studio accessories like reels, photo frames, Oscar statues gives a vintage and glamorous feel to the surroundings and blends well with the theme of a studio.

1. THE ENTRANCE The entrance is made loud with red epoxy flooring which gives an illusion of red carpet being laid at the entrance aisle, with a 9 feet Oscar statue placed as a welcoming host.

2. THE BAR AREA As the theme is the studio – Hollywood/ Bollywood. The bar area has the very essence with the silhouettes of actors on the back-lit acrylic sheet at the bottom.

The Back wall has a backlit layer tape illustration of actors drinking together which creates a beautiful ambience at the bar counter

3. STAGE: the stage is nicely setup with an elevated wooden floor which visually separates it from the main lounge. Walls are decorated with reel lamps creating a unique environ. Customized posters of Actors adds to the charm .

4.MAIN LOUNGE: Main lounge is well arranged with the required no. of furniture. The columns are treated artistically with customized backlit posters of Actors. Space around them is ergonomically utilized with a u shaped seating.

The distinctive ceiling lights to break monotony are at different levels and sizes in form of photo frames which creates a dramatic feel in the space.

5. SMOKING ROOM: A secluded zone with concrete finished walls and posters of actors smoking goes well with the theme ledge In black granite and Oscar lights hanging from the ceiling.

The entrance has frosted glass door with movie quotes printed in red and black adds to the feel of a studio.

6. PRIVATE DINING AREA: A space well separated from the main bar yet connected visually with the glass wall partition is designed for the family dining.

The back wall has a Eleven ledges in woodwork with vintage artifacts placed and LED lights below.

Caricature Posters are customized for the space. This zone is given a rustic yet vintage look and Oscar lights LED are arranged as to provide the required amount of Lux. This zone is directly approachable from the main entrance.

20 The salon is located at BTM lake road, Bangalore.

It is a Unisex salon and Spa. A unique and refreshing aspect of the space is the color palette which gives a soothing sense of calmness. Color scheme includes green, brown and white.

Also the magazine collage on the ceiling at the reception area gives a very attractive and trendy feel. The unique partition wall gives a very modern look to the area The shampoo station is very nicely separated by the pinewood partition wall.

The use of green grass in the shampoo station adds to the freshness in the salon space.

MATERIAL SELECTIONS.

2. RECEPTION:

PARTITION WALL: The reception area has a very unique partition wall made in glass and pinewood CEILING COLLAGE: the magazine cover Collage Customized for the space covers the ceiling and runs through the curved wall gives a very inviting and trendy look to the space, a red sofa is kept at the reception adds another dimension to the decor.

RECEPTION TABLE: The reception table made in pinewood looks very stylish and contemporary with planter boxes on sides.

DISPLAY UNIT: The display unit is finished with white laminate and has a mirror back with LED strip light band running through.

3. SHAMPOO STATION: The shampoo station is visually and aesthically separated from the cutting zone by a very stylish and unique partition wall made in M.S. framework and pinewood blocks

4. THE CUTTING STATION The cutting area has a refreshing theme with the distinctive use of artificial grass on the front wall the mirrors are placed to break the monotony.

The usage of white Corian on ledges makes the green grass stand out and gives a very soothing feel to the space.

The black ceiling lights and the furniture plays very well with the white contrast of the salon.

The pinewood doors adds to the uniqueness and the freshness of the space.

Guest bedroom is quite spacious and the color palette used makes it look luxurious.

Contemporary look in the guest bedroom has been created with the use of woodwork in the form of furniture and wall art, which blends very well with the white and beige tones of the floor and walls.

2. LIVING ROOM: On entering the apartment one Is greeted with a large spacious living room. An onyx band which runs from the front wall to the ceiling adds drama and breaks the monotony of the neutral colors used in the space.

3.KITCHEN : The kitchen has white walls and a granite platform with contrast to it is the cabinetry with concealed handles and furniture made in brown.
