Required training for all First Term Soldiers (Officers and NCO’s) IAW with AR 608-1, DODD 1342.22, DODD 1344.7 DODD 1344.9, DODD 5030.56, DoDI 1344.22 etc. Training will educate on some of the following: developing and maintaining a personal budget/spending plan, how to recognize signs of financial challenges, where to get assistance, understanding different financial accounts, establishing a savings or checking account, emergency savings and long term savings. Credit: What is a credit score, how to obtain a credit report/ score, consumer laws, available consumer advocacy, Service member Civil Relief Act. Training involves open discussion and practical participation. Space is limited. Pre-registration is required.
