Perform a random act of kindness for family, a friend or even a stranger

Declutter or reorganise one room in your home

Pick up a book you’ve been meaning to read – and spend an hour with it

Take a cold shower. It’s also good for immunity, inflammation and pain relief

Try “grounding” - the act of walking barefoot in nature

Write down three things that you are grateful for today

Set your alarm, and take a 20-minute daytime nap

Engage in self-care – a massage, a bath, a walk, whatever brings you joy

Put on your favourite song and dance like nobody’s watching

Take a photo of something that makes you happy. Put it up where you can see it
