TranSystems Corporation is a large firm consisting of about 40 locations across the United States. The office that I interned at is located in South Norwalk, CT. TranSystems in South Norwalk is the “Airports & Air Carriers� sector within the company. Many of the projects that the company takes on deals with the retail stores within airports: Hudson News, Sunglass Hut, Duty Free International Shoppe, ENews, CNN, Hugo Boss, Life Is Good, Kids Works, etc. Some tasks that I would take on in the office were to call sales representatives for information and sample requests, assisting design professionals with design development, administrative tasks (running prints, binding drawings, packaging for delivery), drafting using AutoCAD. All projects in this section are done by a collaborative design team, including myself.
