Saturdays, Jan 14 – Mar 4 10am – 12pm Cost: 8 classes/$160 Learn the fundamental skills of acting with special focus on using your body, voice and imagination as you rehearse scenes.

PLAY IN A DAY 10am – 3pm Cost: $50 per day

ACTING K-2

Saturdays, Jan 14 – Mar 4 12pm – 1:30pm Cost: 8 classes/$160 Learn the basics of acting and storytelling to create your own mini-play featuring your favorite storybook characters while practicing ensemble exercises that activate actor tools.

MUSICAL THEATRE 3-5

Saturdays, Jan 14 – Mar 4 12pm – 2pm Cost: 8 classes/$160 Learn the fundamentals of musical theatre by performing group songs and scenes from Broadway, Disney and other musicals.

In the Arden’s award winning class (Philadelphia Magazine’s Best of Philly: Kids Classes) kids work together to create an original play featuring songs, dances, and scenes. Each Play in a Day is as unique as the group of kids, so take one or all – the story and characters are always new!

ACTING 6-8: FUNDAMENTALS Saturdays, Jan 28 – Mar 4, 3pm – 5pm Cost: $120

Study a variety of acting techniques through character and movement exercises, as well as collaboration on scene work from professional actors, and then perform a showcase on the stage of the Studio Theatre.

ACTING 9-12: PROCESS AND PERFORMANCE

Saturdays, Jan 28 – Mar 4, 12:30 – 2:30pm Cost: $120 Develop a fully-realized character while learning text analysis, exploring acting objectives, and practicing physical and vocal techniques essential to creative expression.

MUSICAL THEATRE 6-8: FUNDAMENTALS

Saturdays, Jan 28 – Mar 4, 12:30 – 2:30pm Cost: $120 Work with a professional singer and music director to learn vocal skills used by professionals. Learn songs and gain confidence singing for an audience in preparation for a final presentation.

MUSICAL THEATRE 9-12: TECHNIQUE Saturdays, Jan 28 – Mar 4, 3 – 5pm Cost: $120

Expand your skills with a professional music director and acting teacher on classic and modern Broadway music to: strengthen vocal technique, communicate effectively through song, and build knowledge of musical theatre repertoire.
