Our young Ardeeians visited Government Girls School at Kanhai village to teach the students parts of speech of English as an Internship program. This internship is part of the CSR initiative and will be spread over three months until this December.

O the o asio of Childre s Day, an appeal by our Ardeeians to our Honorable Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi for their right to breathe clean air was the highlight of the celebration. With a black mask covering their face and a black rose symbolizing the intense pollution, a short video was recorded to be sent to the PM office. The celebrations continued with a panel discussion on the theme #freefromfear# was conducted at the NFC branch which was focused on the need to ensure a balance between the security and freedom of a child. The panel discussion delved into the reasons why schools were being transformed into fortresses taking away the freedom of students. The panel discussion was moderated by Rahul Kanwal, senior journalist and leading TV anchor. Speakers also identified problems faced by all stakeholders- the children, the teachers and the parents.

Other eminent panelists included Aditi Chopra, Director and Legal Counsel, Microsoft India, Madhvi Goradia Divan, Lawyer, Supreme Court of India, Capt. Gurmeet Kaur Head Administration and Operations, Shiv Nadar School, Ravina Raj Kohli, media guru and founding member of #MRTB and Parul Sharma, Media Specialist, Photographer and a Founding Member of #MRTB besides Ms Shefali Varma, Chairperson - Ardee Schools and Ms Chanda Raisinghani, President & Trustee, The Ardee Schools.

College Bridge Program @ Ardee Ardeeians attended an interactive session with Ms. Kamaljit Sehrawat, Mayor of South Delhi as part of the College Bridge program at the NFC branch. Ms. Sehrawat shared her life experience with the students while encouraging them to maintain an honest approach towards academics, put in their hundred percent efforts in all that they do and remain humble.

The Mayor also patiently answered curious questions posed by the students about her work, her challenges and her experiences.

Tree climbing activity @ Ardee farms.

Students had an enjoyable session at Ardee Farmhouse climbing trees. The visit developed confidence, self-esteem and a sense of responsibility towards our environment thus leading to social, emotional, intellectual and physical development of the students.

SIMS Portal Training - SIMS CAPITA – UK @ Ardee Ms. Arpita Biswas from SIMS Capita – UK trained the faculty members on SIMS portal that will allow the school to share information on attendance, behaviour, homework, achievement, school reports etc. of the students, with their parents.
