Designs for a yoga retreat located in a Latvian bog which is surrounded by forest and is a few hundred meters from Baltic Sea Beach. The location is a one-hour drive from Cape Kolka, a unique spot on the shores of Latvia where two seas clash. The entire region is the perfect place to experience the tranquil purity of nature and the local landscape
The concept for the octagon in a yoga meditation space could focus on harmony and balance. The eight sides of the octagon can represent the eight directions of natureup, down, left, right, north, south, east, and west. This could help create a calming atmosphere within the space, and encourage you to focus on your practice..
Built environment
Four streets bound the immediate planning area: to the south by Rákóczi road, which is also the four-lane main road No. 6; to the west by Lánc street, which is also a four-lane road; to the north by Búza square; and the west by Nagy Lajos street.
In terms of its urban position, it is already outside the historic urban core, but there is a distinct sense of enclosed blocks to the west and north. To the north are blocks of mixed function, connected by a closed perimeter. There is space for an office block, a sports center, a bank, and residential functions.
An abandoned construction site is still standing on the site. To the north-west, the Corso Hotel is wedged into the block, but it appears as a distortion on two sides. Despite its torso character, the aim is not to copy architectural gestures.
The new building aims to provide quality spaces for its users while simultaneously opening up significantly to its surroundings. Thus, co-working offices and leasable units for commercial and service functions (restaurant, café, quality shops) should be planned on the ground floor.
An interior proposal for the renewal of museum that would showcase the University of Pecs. The concept behind the proposal is fluency and transparency that would create a smooth flow of the exhibition.
The design proposed for the heritage site of Pongracz house near the city art studio in Paks, Hungary.
The concept behind this design is to refurbish the original plan into something more open and flexible, while not ruining the original structure as it is protected by the government. The proposal for the house is an open gallery, inviting visitors to be mesmerized by the collection of art, the studio has to offer.
Also, with the rest of the open plot that face towards the River Danube, I proposed a lookout tower.
It is a multi-functional space that has an underground level for performance. That can be accessed and utilised by the art studio on the complex. Also, the over the surface area can be used as a seating space as well as a look out space to just enjoy the calmness and scenery of the River Danube.
The chosen site is the Balokany district that is in the southeastern part of Pecs, Hungary. the site enjoys its own grove and lake.
The goal of the civic initiative is to create a family and community park , to provide a venue for various events, and in the longer term to create a children's playground and renovate the lake stage.
