Rhino

In this course, we were first introduced to a 3D modeling software called Rhino. In this course, we learned how to use the software. On top of learning how to use the software, we were also taught how to use Autocad and set up a file for laser cutting. We were also introduced to layout and how to set one up to tell a story.

Revit

In Revit, we were introduced to another 3d Modeling software other then Rhino. We were assigned a precedent to help us learn the software. We then explore some essential rendering software to help make our model more realistic—a program such as Photoshop and Enscape.

ResidentialHouse

In this project, we were assigned to create a residential house for our customers that would fit their job description. The occupation that was picked was chief and professor. Those were the chosen occupations due to the site’s location. Designing around the family occupation, I have given the chief a big kitchen leading to an outdoor grill area. For the professor, I have given a private area in the house where it would receive less noise.

TheMaze

We were given the option to use what we learned from our precedent study to build and create our pavilion during this project—using what I learned about the Swiss SoundBox. I created a design using the way used to create The Swiss SoundBox. Using no nail or glue but instead using only tense to down the structure holds its form. I have designed a maze where since it was held down only using tension and gravity, it created a pavilion that can change its layout depending on the season or the event it was trying to uphold.

In this Project we were giving the location of West Virgina where we are supposed to create an area for people to stay at. For the project I created a government building that sits in a valley that keeps it secert. As the building is designed to house and work as a functional work facility. since the location of the building is hidden from civillian it is not ideal to have the worker constantly go back and forth from the site. As for the space of the building there is a gym area for worker including sleeping chamber, and a working area.
