Our primary focus is client service. We start each project with a blank slate and no preconceived notions of design. We invite our clients to join us in a charrette - an intense round-table of planning and design - to get input from all the stakeholders and user groups, and we conclude each project with a comprehensive review. Everywhere in between, our talented staff uses state-of-the-art technology and software allowing effective communication and meaningful interaction with our clients. This approach saves time, increases communication, and translates to significant cost savings and success for our clients.

DAVID DEMAREST, AIA, NCARB, FOUNDER AND PRINCIPAL OF ARCHITECTURE DEMAREST FOUNDED THE FIRM WITH A COMMITMENT TO ABOVE-AND-BEYOND SERVIE AND CLIENT SUCCESS. SINCE 1982, DAVID HAS BEEN A KEY INNOVATOR IN PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SECTOR PROJECTS.

David founded Architecture Demarest in 1982 and is a leader and innovator in student housing and multi-family housing.

HE IS PERSONALLY INVOLVED IN MANY OF ARCHITECTURE DEMAREST’S PROJECTS. IN 2015 HE BROUGHT ON 3 ADDITIONAL PARTNERS ENSURING THAT THIS COMMITMENT TO CLIENT SERVICE AND SUCCESS IS PART OF THE LEGACY OF THE FIRM AND CONTINUES FOR MANY YEARS TO COME.

Franky designs and manages many of the firm’s high density, mixed use, restoration & renovation, religious facilities and student housing projects. He has also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) since 2010

Emily serves as the Partner-in-charge of quality control and leads our Philadelphia office. She is an expert in leveraging BIM for accelerated project delivery.

Scott has extensive experience in managing design projects of all scales. He uses his strong sense of design and excellent project management skills to develop well-coordinated construction documents.

DATA DRIVEN DESIGN

In order to meet the needs and timelines of student housing, it is vital that the design team delivers to the highest quality of care in the most efficient manner. These schedules often drive planning and design, and we are experts in leveraging tight timelines while producing efficient and elegant designs.

We utilize BIM technology on all of our architectural projects. With this tool, the design team can significantly reduce the amount of time needed to produce coordinated construction documents. The building information model provides greater access to essential building information in the early stages of the design, and also provides greater access to presentation and production materials which increases the ability to communicate. With this technology we can change how we as designers, builders, and owners approach the design process and information exchange.
