Vacation Tiny House

Light weight construction: Wood.

Location: South side of the lake Orfu.

Idea:

The task was to design multiple tiny cabins that are used for vacation purposes near the Orfu lake. The idea was to design well-functioning modern tiny houses units, with a traditional Hungarian house appearance. The Simple Traditional Hungarian house look can be redesigned to serve a modern function which can be impressed for the people to see the beauty of their Traditional houses in the term of modern architecture, and this will encourage the people to love the modern symbol of their traditional architecture.

08

CONCEPT

Two units with shared terrace

Type1

Hungarian traditional house

Designing two units of tiny houses with covered shared terrace to follow the traditional Hungarian house facade shape.

When we cut the house in two units this will result in two different tiny houses with a shared terrace in the middle, and from this point, we can decide to follow the Hungarian house pattern and make a covered terrace or make in open terrace.

Mecsek Bathing house

Location: Pecs Mecsek mountains

Idea:

While the city of Pecs is one of the biggest tourists attractions in Hungary as well as the huge number of students in the university of Pecs, there are some critical missing functions that are needed for a better experience in the city. My aim was to design a well-functioning wellness center within the city of Pecs, because the nearest wellness centers are 40 km far from the city of Pecs, so the idea was to bring this needed function near Pecs. The Bathing House is a great function that helps people to relax and relieve stress and the chosen place for this function was the great Mescek mountains of Pecs where interaction nature can add a great experience to the Bathing house.

20

Exsisted

Using the old platform of the old camping area to place the new building the advantage of that location is that no trees will be cut as it is previously built area

Placement of the two main ground blocks forming a ground floor inviting area for public and customers, placing an outdoor function that serves as a cafe for public and users and separating it from the main bathing house building

Elevation the next story on a columns system to provide a bigger and nice atmosphere for the public ground platform

Placment offirst story blocks two longtidual blocks above the ground story and connect them together

Placment of second story blocks and seperate it into outer area and inner area and intergrating a hole on the top slab to serve and outer pool and then integrate side lookouts points

Add extensions to the building to give more interaction with the nature and allow more functions to be inserted

Placment of water features to the outer parts of the building and to the extensions

Adding water features to the outer parts of the building

Defining the main building core and the added extensions by using different materials to the main core of the building and another for the extended parts

Kindergarten

Location: Pecs

Idea: The name of kindergarten means a garden for kids to play within. That was the main focus of the project, to create a safe garden which is available for kids to play safely. It is safe by the shape of the building where the supervision building has a direct interaction with the main garden and the kids building, the building has both private school function and public function that allows families to be in the school. this allows total privacy of the kids and not to get affected by the public use of the building.

By changing the position of the two buildings there will be a visual barrier for kids that they must be in this area and they need permission to go out to to anydirection.

Plans

This version in case there is an events after school the zone behind the groups rooms parts are closed for it is privacy a lot of tables can be brought to the main lobby and the sport hall can be used as well this whole area can serve the event with protecting the private parts of the kindergarten facilities.

This version in used after school time for other activities or training like dancing classes or some yoga classes, the furniture’s in the main lobby can be hidden in the storage room and then the main lobby and the sport hall are multiple uses unit they can be used as two separated spaces for the different activities or classes. And the changing rooms are the system for adults it is working for such activities.

This version is the school time version where all units are open the main lobby has got some chairs for parents to spend time with kids and they can use the open library to do some activities with kids and they have got an access for outside to the kids play ground to watch their kids and they can play with them, and the can watch their kids in the sport hall by using the inner balcony and on the second floor, by this concept the parents has more flexibility to be closer to their kids in the school and kids will feel more like home, parents can be presented without disturbing the process of teaching.

Elderly home

Location: Pecs

Idea:

The idea of designing an elderly home in the heart of the city is to keep the elderly people active by interacting with the surrounding. The building allows public interaction with the elderly, and providing a place for kids in the building will support the multi-generation interaction idea, with the presence of kids, youth, and the elderly. This whole interaction situation is happening on the ground story, while I took into consideration the need of the elderly for silence and high privacy, where the upper levels of the building are working for this purpuse.

The Aim of the project to allow the Elderly people in a peaceful atmosphere in the heart of the city, and by Allowing a public to come through the building the old people will find the chance to interact more with the public, and by inserting the indoor kids playground this will bring the kids to the building, the existence of kids in an elderly home will bring life and activity to the elderly people.
