At Archer Concepts, we’re a New Zealand owned, family business specialising in furniture and complete fitout solutions for the Agedcare, Healthcare and Hospitality industry We pride ourselves on providing stylish comfort solutions that transform our client’s environments.
Our 48+ years’ experience has seen the company develop into today’s successful group of 3 divisions where we focus our expertise into:
• Archer Care – furniture and complete fitout solutions for Retirement Living, Aged Care & Mental Health.
• Archer Hospitality – furniture and complete fitout solutions for Hospitality, Accommodation and Commercial spaces
• Archer Medical – furniture & equipment complete fitout solutions for Medical and Healthcare.

1975
Timeline
1992 - 1995
Brian’s boys joined the business Kaiwaka Furniture refocused to supplying the NZ market with Pine & Rimu Furniture As a result a second building was built on site
2000
A retail division was started and Drummer & Co Homestore opened in Wellsford
Founder Brian began a wood turning business in Kaiwaka, Supplying timber frames & legs for bed furniture ranges
1982 -1989
New Machinery purchased Customer base and demand increased which lead to the Company name: Kaiwaka Furniture
2010
Kaiwaka Furniture became Archer Concepts and focused on the Aged Care sector and followed expanding towards the Hospitality Market
2011
After 36 years Brain exited the business and both his boys and grandkids continued the family’s business
2021
Archer Concepts opened a stunning new showroom & office in Albany, Auckland
2015
A need for furniture was seen in the Medical Sector, Archer Medical formers as the last division of the company, targeting medical Centre fit outs and DHB’s
2022
Creative Upholstery, along with The Cushion Company and Sofabed co nz, was taken ownership by Archer Concepts to help with the upholstery workload in Kaiwaka
