ALUMNI NE

SEPTEMBER 2025

Curley Alumni Brothers, Pax et Bonum! While it's only Labor Day Weekend, it feels like Fall. Our young alumni have moved into their dorms, outside temperatures have cooled a bit, the Ravens are back at "The Bank" and students once again fill the halls of Curley. As cooler weather pays us a visit, we hope that you will do the same so you can check out some of the many familyfriendly activities Curley and the Alumni have planned throughout the school year. I invite you to attend the Alumni general meeting Tuesday, September 9, to hear more about all these events and join the next Curley Connects meet and greet.

Speaking of the Ravens, I also want to congratulate Eric Schmith '95 for winning the Ravens Raffle, which includes two season tickets, and thank everyone who purchased tickets to support the Alumni Association.

What's new with you? We want to hear from our alumni to see what's new and to celebrate your accomplishments. If you have exciting news please send it my way via email at sstreckfus@archbishopcurley.org so we can celebrate you and share it with your brothers.

Stevon Brown graduated this past year from University of Delaware and has returned to share his football knowledge with Coach Stichel's squad. Stevon is the Assistant Varsity Offensive Line coach, working with centers and guards. He played guard for the Blue Hens and was part of an O-Line that helped UD's rushing attack average nearly 120 yards per game one year. We are blessed to have Stevon back on the field with our guys.

We would like to thank all of the members of our community who have made generous contributions to the Archbishop Curley Memorial Scholarship recently.

Gavin Schisler graduated from the Frederick County Fire Academy as a Firefighter/EMT Friday, July 25. Gavin's path of brotherhood continues and is a testament to his time at Curley. Congratulations, Gavin, and thank you for being an example of service to other brothers.
