Message from the Athletic Director
Arapahoe High School Baseball Community,
Welcome to the 2019 Arapahoe Warrior Baseball Season. It will be another memorable and exciting experience for these boys. The Warriors will once again compete in the 5A Centennial League, a league whose top teams are amongst the strongest in Colorado. Competing in this league is a key indicator that our teams can compete against anybody. Expectations are high, and these boys are surely up to the challenge.

What an awesome opportunity for these athletes. Teamwork, resiliency, precision, determination, and the ability to work outside one’s comfort zone are but a few of the great things taught through participation in high school sports. In no sport are these lessons more obvious than they are in baseball, and there is not another sport where mastery of these skills is more important in terms of success. The promise of this season goes far beyond the results of any particular contest. I hope you will recognize the excellence of the teams regardless of the outcome of each game.
Under the leadership of Coach Jim Dollaghan, the Warriors have been working hard. They’ve honed their skills, and worked on strength and agility in an effort to ready themselves for competition. They are primed to take the field and reap the benefits of all their efforts. Although it is difficult to predict the final record for these teams, it is not hard to guarantee that they will reach their greatest potential.
I would like to thank all baseball parents, the Arapahoe High School staff, and every other person who has contributed to the opportunity these players have. I hope that you share my excitement for the start of this new baseball season. Please take every opportunity to enjoy the efforts of these “Warriors,” and I hope you have a great season.
Thank you,
Pat McCabe Athletic Director
