PETS: Community guidelines
Cleaning up after your pet is the law
Please enjoy your pet responsibly and always carry and use pet waste disposal bags and designated bins.
Fact:
Dog waste can spread harmful diseases such as giardiasis and salmonellosis!
Control Barking
Be considerate to neighbors and train your dog to prevent unnecessary barking.
Responsible owners:
• Always walk dogs on a leash
• Clean up after your pet immediately
• Keep pets inside your home
• Register and vaccinate their pets
• Educate household staff on proper pet care etiquette
X Irresponsible pet owners:
• Leave pet waste in shared or outdoor areas
• Let pets roam freely through neighbors’ properties
• Bring pets to swimming pools or play areas
• Feed or shelter stray animals in public areas
• Keep non-domestic or exotic animals
• Breed or sell animals without appropriate licensing
Keep Pets on a Leash in all shared areas of the community to prevent accidents, straying, and discomfort to other residents.
Do Not Feed Stray Cats
Food left out for stray cats leads to overpopulation, dependency, and pests like rodents.
Important note
Residents who fail to comply with these guidelines may receive a Notice of Violation and face penalties. Local authorities may also be involved where necessary.
Residents are reminded that certain dog breeds are banned under UAE law. Residents must ensure they are not keeping or bringing any prohibited breed into the community.
Let’s all do our part to ensure our community remains a safe and pleasant place to live—for humans and pets alike.
