You don’t want to make it so amateur friendly that they lose confidence or start making mistakes. They occasionally need some open classes to refresh them to stay competitive. if you and the amateur can share them, that’s ideal. but my people are very open to the idea that if a horse needs to be an open horse for a year or more, that’s what we do. i find that most people enjoy watching their horses show as much as they enjoy showing themselves ...
