En el corazón del casco histórico de Palma, entre calles empedradas y fachadas con siglos de historia, 6A Taller i Galeria d’Art se erige como un refugio creativo único en su género. No es solo una galería. Es un templo donde el arte contemporáneo y las técnicas tradicionales dialogan con armonía y pasión. Es la única galería de las Islas Baleares —y una de las pocas en toda España— que alberga su propio taller de estampación tradicional. Dos espacios que suman más de 500 m2 acogen exposiciones de artistas locales e internacionales, mientras que, al otro lado, el legendario Taller 6A mantiene viva la magia de la litografía. Con más de 700 piedras litográficas y prensas centenarias, este taller ha visto pasar grandes nombres del arte contemporáneo, como Miquel Barceló y Luis Claramunt. Más que un espacio expositivo, la 6A ofrece residencias artísticas, colaboraciones y actividades donde los visitantes no solo contemplan, sino que participan en el proceso creativo. Cada detalle lleva el sello de excelencia de un equipo que entiende el arte como experiencia compartida.

Distinguida con la Medalla de Oro de la Ciudad y el Premio Ramon Llull, la 6A no solo preserva una técnica, sino que impulsa el arte hacia el futuro, conectando generaciones, disciplinas y sensibilidades. Un oasis donde la historia se imprime en cada obra y el presente vibra con cada exposición.

In the heart of Palma’s Old Town, among cobbled lanes and centuries-old façades, 6A Taller i Galeria d’Art stands as a one-of-a-kind creative haven. It’s more than a gallery — it’s a sanctuary where contemporary art and traditional techniques meet in harmony and passion. It’s the only gallery in the Balearic Islands — and among the few in Spain — to house its own traditional printmaking workshop. Spanning over 500 m2, its dual spaces host exhibitions by local and international artists, while across the way, the historic Taller 6A keeps the magic of lithography alive. With over 700 lithographic stones and century-old presses, this workshop has welcomed some of contemporary art’s greats, including Miquel Barceló and Luis Claramunt.

More than a gallery, 6A offers artist residencies, collaborations, and events where visitors don’t just observe, but become part of the creative process. Every detail reflects the excellence of a team that sees art as a shared experience.

Honoured with Palma’s Gold Medal and the Ramon Llull Award, 6A not only preserves a technique — it propels art into the future, bridging generations, disciplines, and perspectives. An oasis where history is imprinted in every work, and the present resonates with each exhibition.

Wo Kunst zwischen Tradition und Avantgarde atmet

Im Herzen der Altstadt von Palma, zwischen Kopfsteinpflaster und jahrhundertealten Fassaden, erhebt sich 6A Taller i Galeria d’Art als kreatives Refugium mit einzigartigem Charakter. Es ist nicht nur eine Galerie – es ist ein Tempel, in dem zeitgenössische Kunst und traditionelle Techniken im Einklang und mit Leidenschaft aufeinandertreffen. Es ist die einzige Galerie auf den Balearen – und eine der wenigen in ganz Spanien – mit einer eigenen traditionellen Druckwerkstatt. Zwei Räume mit mehr als 500 m2 bieten Ausstellungen lokaler und internationaler Künstler, während auf der anderen Seite die legendäre Werkstatt Taller 6A die Magie der Lithografie lebendig hält. Mit über 700 Lithosteinen und historischen Druckpressen haben hier große Namen der zeitgenössischen Kunst gearbeitet, darunter Miquel Barceló und Luis Claramunt. Mehr als ein Ausstellungsraum: 6A bietet Künstlerresidenzen, Kooperationen und Aktivitäten, bei denen Besucher nicht nur betrachten, sondern Teil des kreativen Prozesses werden. Jedes Detail trägt die Handschrift eines Teams, das Kunst als gemeinsame Erfahrung versteht. Ausgezeichnet mit der Goldmedaille der Stadt und dem Ramon-Llull-Preis bewahrt 6A nicht nur eine Technik, sondern führt die Kunst in die Zukunft –generationenübergreifend, interdisziplinär und sensibel. Eine Oase, in der Geschichte in jedem Werk weiterlebt und die Gegenwart in jeder Ausstellung spürbar wird.
