To me, architecture is more than just form or appearance, it’s a journey and a meticulously crafted experience aimed at providing the best possible solutions for users.
I believe architecture can signicantly impact communities and enhance quality of life. My design philosophy centers on creating spaces that blend functionability, sustainability, and basic design principles.
I aspire to work on innovative projects where I can learn, grow, and contribute to transformative designs that are impactful.

Waterfront Development and Urban Resilience Center.
Semester 5 Project
Location: Powai, Mumbai
Site Area: 8000 sqm
Built up Area: 2000 sqm
The site is located near the suburbs of powai. The site is at a small water front which is in walking proximity of the larger Powai lake. The articial pond is encircled by two very contrasting faces of Mumbai. The east part is a residential high rise and posh area contradicting the west part which is a slum settlement consisiting of the worker class.

Concept
The site is located near a small waterfront, within walking distance of the larger Powai Lake. This water body is bordered by two contrasting areas of Mumbai: a high-rise residential area to the east and a slum settlement housing the working class to the west.
My goal is to develop a social hotspot to foster interaction and bridge the gap between these communities. For the slum residents, essential amenities like clean water, public restrooms, and medical facilities are crucial. Additionally, including spaces such as a sports center, skill development center, and a library with an exhibition area will cater to the interests and needs of both communities.

Potter’s House
Semester 2 Project Kumbharwada, Dharavi
Location: Kumbharwada Dharavi
OFF THE GRID - Tiny House Competetion
Home is a place that solely radiates comfort. After a long hard day returning to home feels like a luxury. For the potters, home is the place where they both work and rest and hence they spend almost all of their time there. Giving this more thought, the city we live in is also a home to all of us. Thinking of Mumbai city the visual image that comes to mind is the constant pace and the busy lives. You can evidently feel the time moving and the city is screaming with lights, alive all the time. Dharavi has a similar fast pace life and chaos to it like Mumbai. The unending stretch of narrow lanes, open sewers and crammed houses leave you with the initial feeling of the space closing in on you but the more we walk through these lanes we get to experience and look at the busy lives of the people living there. Kumbharwada (Kumbhar = Potter and Wada = colony) regardless being a part of Dharavi is a adequate mix of calm and chaos. Walking through kumbharwada, the smell of wet earth, the pots arranged for sun drying, the smoke coming out of the kilns and the chaos of people talking successfully grabs your attention. It makes this a place of endless potential and possibilities.

Kumbharwada, located within Dharavi in Mumbai, is a vibrant and historically signicant area known primarily for its pottery industry. Dharavi itself is one of the largest informal settlements in the world, often referred to as a "slum," but it is also a hub of entrepreneurial activity and cultural diversity. Kumbharwada, in particular, standsoutforitsuniquecommunityofpotters.

APPLICATION OF DAYLIGHT AND VENTILATION IN ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN
Installa onof Solar panels on the roof makes the energy produced renewable and environment friendly.

Ver ality of the design results in minimal carbon footprint. Water resources are available by crea n water channels and guters connected to the roof which collects the water below the structure and is used as required.

BOOK REVIEW

Imagine a well-planned and structured city with uncrowded roads and open spaces. Is that all a place requires to be termedas a city?Beyond the physicaland economic aspects, what trulymakesita CITY? Whatisthis'ineffablequality ofurbanitywhichwecall:city'?
Consider the example of Bombay, which harbours the very opposite. From the railway lines to the overcrowded streets to the traf c at peak hours, from the slums of Dharavi to the high-rise luxury housing of Powai, the physical aspectofMumbaiisdegradingdaybyday
Then why are people s ll migra ng to Mumbai? It is because the city offers skills, ac vi es, and opportuni es on every level to every user from squa ers to entrepreneurs. Theinterrela onandco-dependency between the different user groups are what make the city as a whole, func onal and intensify its quality We o en fail to acknowledge that we are just as dependent on the vegetable vendor as they are on us. Ci es have always embodied the dreams and aspira ons of a society Hence, what might seem like chaos to an outsider represents the dreams of the people in the city
What makes a city 'an ideal city' is deeply rooted in the society and the inhabitants there, along with their strongbelief systemsandvalues.Sincethedawnofciviliza on,humanbeliefsandvalueshavehadthebiggestimpactonevery built and unbuilt form. There is much more to a city than just buildings and streets, just like there is much more to a building than just walls and rooms. Another example, Sri Rangam, an island on the Godavari River in Tamil Nadu, has seven concentricringswithasacredcentre.
This concept of planning is based on the ancient Vastu Purush-mandala. Char Bagh is en rely designed with the visual imagery of the Islamic gardens of heaven. Similar observa ons can be made with New York. There is the structure of the city: a monotonous grid of traf c intersec ons, and then the intangible part, which can be the name 'New York' itself.
We fail to understand how strong these images, visuals, and belief systems associated with certain ci es are. This is what gives them the essence and power to be an urban center rich in culture and self-sustenance. Which brings us to anotherques on.

CDSA - 1 DAY MEMORIAL DESIGN WORKSHOP

“MEMORIAL
FOR EXTINCT WILDLIFE”
Located within the Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary in Kerala. The concept aimed to highlight the devastating impact of deforestation, which strips animals of their natural habitat, forcing them into a state of alienation amidst the relentless expansion of urban sprawl. the memorial is placed deep within a dense forest. This location was chosen to make visitors experience the vulnerability and unease that wildlife faces due to human encroachment—mirroring the feeling of being caged.
Conceived as a walk-through journey, the memorial guides visitors through installations that tell the stories of extinct species. The path begins with stubbed trees, symbolizing deforestation, and continues with walls featuring small windows that limit views of the forest, representing humanity’s disconnect from nature. The journey ends in a massive cage structure overlooking the river and forest, serving as a metaphor for the connement wildlife endures due to human actions.
