Our childhood sets the foundation in shaping our beliefs about ourselves, and the world around us, along with how we react to it's unpredictable and fickle nature. Undeniable in it's importance to one's personal development and character building, our childhood and the memories made from it captures those genuine human emotions that pulls at our heartstrings and never fails to kindle that wistful sense of melancholy (for good and bad) and yearning nostalgia, which makes it a rich source of sincere feelings and sentiments to write upon.
This year's literary and art folio of the Aquinian Herald will tackle the emotions that our childhood evokes from all of us and its part in shaping who we are.
