he Everett AquaSox return to the ballpark on Broadway for the final regular season homestand of the year, beginning Saturday. Aug. 28 and finishing on Thursday, Sept. 2. The team takes on the Eugene Emeralds and the Vancouver Canadians for three games apiece before finishing the season across the border in Vancouver. Throughout the season AquaSox fans have enjoyed some fantastic promotions and giveaways, not to mention heart-pounding baseball, and the final homestand is no different.

The fun kicks off Saturday with a Ryan Rowland-Smith bobblehead giveaway for the first 1,000 fans, courtesy of Alfy’s Pizza. Fans can get the great collectible of the former AquaSox star and also participate in the Back to School Supply Drive, benefiting the Volunteers of America Western Washington. Sunday is a very special day at Everett Memorial Stadium as the AquaSox host Pink at the Park Night to promote breast cancer awareness. The team will sport specialedition pink jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game, with proceeds benefiting the AquaSox Community Fund. The first 1,000 fans will also receive a pink AquaSox visor, courtesy of Tulalip Resort Casino.

The AquaSox bring in September with Teacher Appreciation Night, presented by Wells Fargo, on Wednesday evening. The event celebrates local teachers in the culmination of the Home Room Heroes program, with all teachers receiving free admission to the game when they present their teacher’s ID at the box office. Selected teachers from the Home Room Heroes program will be recognized by the AquaSox for their service and dedication to the community. The Frogs wrap up their 2010 regular season home schedule with Fan Appreciation Night, presented by Tulalip Resort Casino, on Thursday, Sept. 2. Fans can celebrate another great Tasty Thursday with $2 Miller Lite beer, $2 hot dogs, $2 peanuts and $2 soda while rocking out to Afraid of Figs live in the Miller Lite Bullpen BBQ located right on the first base line. Regular season home games at Everett Memorial may be coming to an end, but the AquaSox insured extra baseball in 2010 by clinching the NWL Western Division first-half season. The 2010 AquaSox playoffs, presented by Sound Transit, kick off Tuesday, Sept. 7 with a 7:05 p.m. first pitch.
