MICRO-PSYCHED INTEGRATIVE MICRODOSING PROTOCOL
TRIP SITTER’S ADVICE
The effects of any substance can vary greatly depending on individual factors, and even small amounts can have unpredictable effects in some cases.
Always start with a very small dose and gradually increase it over time to find the optimal dose for your individual needs.
I AM SO HAPPY TO GET MICRO-PSYCHED WITH YOU!
Why? Thanks to a little magic and a lot of exploration, I’ve witnessed countless “stuck” people move more joyfully into their future. How? This is where our work together begins.
Integration begins with seeing micro-dosing as a part of the whole of your life, and getting excited about the possibilities for you to take the reins in creating the life experience you desire. For both big and small doses of medicine setting an intention, cultivating awareness, and practicing new behaviors is the formula for an optimal outcome. Particular to micro-dosing is the opportunity to take the often subtle self-observations and weave them into one’s own life in real time.
The journey here starts with tuning in and getting clear. Before your first “dose” day, take time with the SELF SCAN on the following pages. You’ll complete a total of three scans: before WEEK 1 plus after WEEK 6 and WEEK 12.
While your findings are personal, I encourage you to ask questions, to seek guidance, and to share your experience to make the most of the changes that are unfolding. Over the 12-week protocol, we’ll cover practices and principles to help you make sense of what comes up and what comes next. My experience working as a licensed therapist and integrative coach informed the Micro-Psyched Integration Protocol, which represents what we believe to be the best in standard care and current research.
With love,

MED CHECK:
CONDITIONS & CONSIDERATIONS
It’s important to understand the potential risks and benefits before beginning a micro-dosing protocol. The following is a checklist of considerations and conditions to review with your healthcare provider before starting treatment:
In some cases, psilocybin has been shown to increase blood pressure and heart rate.
Chronic health concerns such as cardiovascular issues or liver conditions.
Diagnosis, symptoms, or family history of bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, schizophrenia or borderline personality disorder, psychosis, other mood disorders, and/or other mental health conditions.
Pregnant, think you may become pregnant and/or are chest/breastfeeding.
Some medications, such as SSRIs, SNRIs, antipsychotics, and MAO inhibitors, can interact with psilocybin and may cause unwanted side effects.
Recent or active addiction can be important to have adequate guidance or support when engaging with a new substance.
*Prior to WEEK 1, it’s advised to complete your first SELF SCAN in the back of this guide on page 22.
WEEK ONE
MICRODOSING INTRODUCTION & PREPARTION
The prevailing wisdom when choosing a starting psilocybin micro-dose is, “You have to start somewhere.” Let’s start with finding your baseline dose so over the next 6 weeks you can - with ease - add micro-dosing into your lifestyle.
The first week is designed to educate yourself on how microdosing works and what your options are so you’ll be ready to start working with the medicine WEEK 2 and develop a personal protocol. While we provide suggested dosage, if you feel good, you don’t need - or have - to go higher. Welcome this as an opportunity to follow your intuition and play with what feels best to your body.
GOOD TO KNOW
Some people find that micro-doses can energize them, for this reason, choose the time of day to ingest your first doses similar to your behavior around consuming caffeine: only in the morning, never after 3pm.
Begin by ingesting with food, if you feel good you can further dial in your dose by taking the medicine with food to find the right effects if needed.
If you start to feel the effects of the medicine at any point, you don’t need to keep increasing as micro-doses are meant to be SUB-perceptual.

TWO OPTIONS TO FIND A BASELINE DOSE BEFORE EXPLORING FURTHER.
EITHER TAKE 1 PRACTICE DOSE
SUGGESTED FOR: Members already micro-dosing, re-establish your baseline dose if you’re trying a new medicine source.
SUGGESTED DOSE: 100 - 150 milligrams (mg)
SUGGESTED PROTOCOL: Choose a day that is light on commitments, obligations, deadlines, and driving a vehicle. This may take place any day before your preferred protocol begins.
OR TITRATE OVER 2 WEEKS
SUGGESTED FOR: Members new to micro-dosing, establish your baseline dose over time to feel how slight changes in dose affect your experience.
SUGGESTED DOSE:
Dose 1 & 2: 50 milligrams
Dose 3 & 4: 100 milligrams
Dose 5 & 6: 150 milligrams
SUGGESTED PROTOCOL: Start very low for Dose 1 & Dose
2. Increase for Dose 3 and repeat for Dose 4. Dose 5 & Dose 6 are on the high end of a suggested dose. Dose 3 and 5 are best taken on a day that is light on commitments, obligations, deadlines, and driving a vehicle.
SUGGESTED PROTOCOL SCHEDULE
The schedule OF LIKE MINDS is offering was inspired by Fadiman Protocol, developed by Jim Fadiman who is considered to be the grandfather of micro-dosing.
The schedule OF LIKE MINDS recommends taking a microdose every three days, with two days off in between. The medicine can be taken every other day as long as you plan for at least one day off in between dosing days to manage your tolerance and allow time for integration. If after a month you aren’t feeling any effects, you can try taking the medicine 3-4 days in a row with 2-3 days off in between. You can also reach out for support to an integration coach or guide for help with this.
When taking your daily dose try for approximately the same time of day, preferably before noon. Repeat for 4-8 weeks, then take a break for 1-2 weeks.
IS IT OKAY TO ADJUST THE
PRESCRIBED PROTOCOL SCHEDULE?
When selecting a protocol, it’s important to consider your personal goals for micro-dosing and what your lifestyle can accommodate.
Most professionals recommend micro-dosing on a regular weekly schedule for 4-8 weeks to maintain a consistent level of the substance in the body. It is also recommended that you allow 1-2 “off” days between “on” days.
Keep in mind, if you’ve seen results but feel progress waning, take a break from the medicine for 2 weeks before resuming. Note what comes up during this rest period.
INTEGRATION
WHAT IS INTEGRATION?
Psychedelic integration recognizes that the insights and experiences gained during a psychedelic journey can have a lasting impact on an individual’s beliefs, emotions, relationships, and behaviors.
By engaging in integration practices, individuals can better understand and integrate the lessons, perspectives, and changes that emerged during their psychedelic experiences, leading to personal growth, healing, and transformation.
Integration is like a supported learning process where we are given a boost or a new resource and then it’s our job to learn how to apply that into our lives when challenges arise. Integration with micro-dosing is theoretically the same as with big journeys. In both experiences, we cultivate awareness, clarify intention, and practice new behaviors. And with micro-dosing, the integration is happening in realtime so it can be subtle but involves staying mindful of any changes you notice and how you can deepen them, apply them to other situations, or weave them more fully into your life.
Some things that can support the integration process are creative expression, meditation, time in nature, conscious movement, and therapy or coaching.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHILE I MICRO-DOSE?
Micro-dosing can be thought of as taking a new vitamin, in that it can have a broad range of effects and is not meant to treat specific symptoms the way medication does but can have a medicinal effect like a supplement.
The presence of small doses of psilocybin in your system can support many different kinds of physiological, cognitive and emotional shifts.
Paying attention to what changes for you is key to maximizing the benefit.
Here are some things to take note of over your 30-60 days of your dosing and integration practice:
Sleep patterns and/or changes
New or different perspectives
Ability to react or respond differently to stress, changes in daily mood, temperament, and energy levels
Physical effects such as nausea or dizziness
Changes in your well-being: anxiety and/or depression levels, outlook on the future or past, perspective shifts
Paying attention to moments of emotion such as joy, sadness, awe, wonder, contentment, fatigue, stress, etc. What was happening in those moments? How long did those moments last?

DOSING SCHEDULE
WEEK TWO
NEUROSCIENCE OF CHANGE
In the brain and nervous system, positive change happens in three basic phases:
1. Become aware of your general operating settings
2. Process any attachment to the patterns that aren’t working so well
3. Reprogram neural networks (brain pathways) by repeating preferred thoughts, actions and feelings
Psychedelics are a boost for every phase because of the way they “fluff” the chemistry and neuroplasticity of the brain making it more friendly to new perspectives. They can also help shift negative emotional memories which helps us rewrite our present reality in ways we like more.
Knowing what phase you are in and paying attention can have the brain wire three times faster than without that attention.

WEEK THREE
CHANGE YOUR MIND-FULLNESS:
PSYCHEDELIC EMBODIMENT
Often we think that changing our experience means changing our minds, well changing our minds also means changing the relationship to our bodies. Our brain looks to our body to assess how we are doing in any given moment and what level of threat or safety we are in. Our thoughts and body are in a feedback loop–affecting one another in an ongoing cycle.
By engaging with the whole nervous system and learning to befriend the body we gain the biggest ally we have in accessing the same kind of peaceful, connected, joyful and inspired states that we love about psychedelics. Everything we “feel” whether it is emotions or sensations live as neurochemical counterparts in our physical bodies.
Research suggests that humans are generally far more satisfied with decisions they made intuitively instead of just using their cognitive reasoning on anything more complex than buying a car. Microdosing can open up our ability to more clearly hear our truth and access our intuition. Becoming mindful of where and how we are approaching the minute by minute decisions in our life–anything from how we treat ourselves and others to what we are doing for work can benefit our overall life satisfaction.

WEEK FOUR
CONSCIOUSNESS: A PSYCHEDELIC JOURNEY
Have you ever been driving and known to swerve before you could see the oncoming car? Or called someone at the exact moment they were thinking about you?
There is so much consciousness beyond that of the human brain---from the intelligence of our heart cells to beat in unison with people we are close to the way trees can share resources amongst one another.
This consciousness moves through the interconnected network that runs through all things. This field of energy is what nearly 80% of people report tapping into when they have a “mystical experience” on psychedelics. Most commonly described as a a connection to “something larger” or the presence of “unconditional love” and “connection to all things.”

WEEK FIVE
WHEN THINGS GET HARD:
CHALLENGES INTO OPPORTUNITIES
In order to learn new things young brains need to fail on a first try or be challenged into the next phase of development. If everything went just according to plan our brains wouldn’t grow and life would be incredibly boring.
Psychedelic Integration is the process of using life’s inevitable ups and downs to practice new skills, capacities and ways of being opened up by the medicine.
If we can approach old sticking points in new ways our nervous systems learn that other possibilities exist and if we practice the new way it can become our new default.
Microdosing in particular can be an experiment in approaching every single that comes our way in daily life as the best possible thing for our journey.

Reflect on something positive you have noticed since starting this protocol.
If you imagine for a moment that we could trust that everything was in the process of working out for your best interest, how does that feel?
· Given whatever is happening in your life right now that might feel challenging—what is the thing you would like to learn from this? How would you like to look back on this moment?
INTEGRATION + MAKING LASTING CHANGE
Integration is really the difference between having had a cool (psychedelic) experience and making some lasting changes.
With microdosing, integration happens in real-time and is ongoing because the experience is usually subtle and within the context of daily life.
By paying close attention to what is shifting and how it feels when it shifts –we can capture these changes.
It’s like making a map of new rooms we have discovered in our house so that we can return whenever we want. These become pathways we can memorize by paying attention so our brains can easily find them in the future.
