Hi! My name is Aprillianna Prasetio, and most of my friends call me April. I’m a fifth year visual communication design student at Binus University. I have always been interested in art and design, and am excited to gain new experience at your company. Here are some of my recent artworks from university that i hope you will be able to enjoy .












“Fruit Tea Ads”


Scene: The brief was to create a visual style using the metaphor and hyperbole method to use in a brand advertisement. Fruit Tea Sosro Freeze was the product brand chosen, with the message of “providing a cool sensation anywhere, anytime.” For the execution, a series of three illustrations were made, each themed accordingly to convey a clear message to the audience.








“GOOD DAY COFFEE ADS”


Scene: Creating Print-Ads for a brand using Gestalt principles. For this project, the brand Good Day Coffee was chosen with the main messages being “awaken and freshen up your day.”Visual metaphor was used through the illustration of nerve-racking activities and objects or things that can awaken us.



“We Love design”



Scene: We Love Design was a project from Visual Communication Design Bina Nusantara where participants were tasked to design visual decorations and apply them to merchandise.

The “WLD” visual identity was designed with a fun and modern visual style, using a combination of illustration and typography, and a bright and colorful palette in every detail of the design’s assets.











[POP MUSICAL]”



Scene: A music event promotion project sponsored by Bukalapak. This music event was in collaboration with two main artists, Billie Eilish and Khalid. The tone and manner chosen based on the target audience (youths) and the brand sponsor's characteristics were modern, friendly, and young.

“Popsical
This music event promotion project began with the selection of its genre and event name, then show concept, followed by the creation of a logo and ad visualization that will be used in multiple advertising media. Because of this, skills and abilities in layout design were necessary for the project.










“Pulpy Orange Ads”


Scene: Students were given the brief to create digital imaging for an ad that will be applied in multiple media layouts. The chosen product brand was Minute Maid Pulpy Orange. This print-ad wanted to show the characteristics of the product, which was a fresh sensation with orange pulp contained in it.


Additionally students also need to make a movie advertising the chosen brand.







“Head & Shoulders Ads”

Scene: The brief given was to create an advertisement layout for the shampoo Head & Shoulders that will later be applied to multiple advertising media, while still paying attention to its syntax, visual consistency, message hierarchy, and design principles.



Several advertising media used for this task, includes: Print-ads with A4 size Hanging mobile Shelf advertising





“Photography”


Scene: This was an initiative project in the form of a beauty and fashion photoshoot collaborating with one of Jakarta's model agency, Vate Models.








“Photography”


Scene: A photoshoot project for the final exam, where students were given the brief to create a campaign themed around sustainable living. The photoshoot, titled "The Ocean Waste Haul," was inspired by the issue of plastic contamination in the ocean


This project aims to increase awareness of plastic pollution in the ocean. This photoshoot can be classified as fashion photography, with its use of clothes made from recycled plastic and set design using glass sticker.
