There are a number of mindfulness techniques you can use to help you to address and cope with your stress or anxieties from box breathing through to mindful journalling For more regular updates follow Dr Julie Smith on Instagram for helpful daily tips and tricks

6. Exercise

Exercise can also help take your mind off your worries The repetitive motions involved in exercise promotes a focus on your body, rather than your mind. It also helps to release endorphins which are your bodies 'feel good' hormone. Take a look at this short video for a few simple exercises you can do whilst at your desk.
