Discover FALL Apple Season brings scents that may be more familiar to most of our visitors, but guests, who come only in October, are denying themselves the pleasures carried through the air during the eleven other months. Everyone knows the delights that are on the menu as they smell pies in the oven, creamy caramel being whisked to coat crisp apples, the pulp of the cider mills, the dampness of wet wine barrels. Older guests may be transported to the time they or their grandparents created the same smells in the kitchen or basement, and younger guests suddenly feel the urge to find out just how to recreate those smells at home.
