Restoring local black history Restoration specialist Chaunce Braun repairs damaged headstones at the Macedonia African American Cemetery, located near the corner of State Bridge and Medlock Bridge roads. Through donations to the Johns Creek Historical Society, the graves of R.L. Parsons (1869-1923) and April Waters (1845-1910) were restored. The society discussed the cemetery and other aspects of local black history in a recent virtual event. Read more, Page 4 2020
