WCC has been my secondary school since Year 9 and I am proud to be Head Boy this year. There are so many opportunities in sports, academic and culture here that I have involved myself in most of these areas. A highlight for me was being part of the Samoa trip last year. I am looking at the Navy as a career path, with consideration towards a gap year first next year.

My journey at WCC started in Year 9. The teachers are amazing and are constantly supporting me towards achieving my goals. After this year I am hopefully joining the Army as an Officer or Engineer. This has been something I have been focused on since I was 13. I am part of the Cadets and am now a SSGT (Staff Sargent) at the City of Napier Cadet Unit.

I started William Colenso College in Year 8, and since then my journey in this school has been amazing, especially being Head Girl this year. There are so many opportunities at William Colenso that you just can’t say no to them. One of the greatest thing about William Colenso is that every teacher is supportive and willing to help you succeed in school and in life. Next year I am hoping I will be accepted in EIT or Waikato University to become an occupational therapist or a social worker.

I have attended William Colenso College since Year 7 and am pleased to be Deputy Head Boy for 2017. When I finish school this year I am looking at having a gap year to travel and will then focus on making my way to uni to study Biotechnology.
