“Imadesomereallygoodprogress whenwestarted,andwemadesomehuge tradesearlyon,butI’vejustbeenstuck withthisvoucherforthepastfourdays,” JagpaltoldOneRoofattheendoflast week.

Hesaidtherewerefewerpeoplewith somethingworth$20,000thattheywere preparedtotrade,hesaid.

“EverysingletradeI’vedonehasbeen withsomeoneIdidn’tknow.Alotofit hasbeenmewalkinguptopeopleand pitchingatrade,orsomeonetellingme togetintouchwiththispersonorthat person.”

Jagpalisusedtorejection.Thisyear,he startedRejectionTherapy,whichinvolves askingarandomstrangerforsomething everyday.“Iwasexpectingtogetano, butalotofthetimeIgotayes,andIcame torealisethatIcankindofgetanythingI wantinthislifeaslongasIasktheright personattherighttime.

“Ithinkpeopleareveryscaredtoask, andtheydon’twanttodealwiththe rejectionorembarrassmentofhearingno. ButI’vebeendoingRejectionTherapyfor 240dayssofar,soit’snotthatbigofa dealtome.IfIhearano,Ijustkeepgoing aheadwithmylife.”

Hehadalsoamassedagroupofloyal andgrowingfollowerswhowerealso givinghimideasofhowandwhathis nexttradeshouldbe.Afewofthetrades hadcometohimthroughsocialmedia, includinganofferofatransportablehouse, whichhehasyettoacceptbecausehehas nolandtoputiton.

“It’sgrowingprettyquickly,andit’sabit ofaracebetweenifI’mgoingtoreachone millionfollowers[onInstagram]orgetthe housefirst.”

Jagpalsaidhisfocusrightnowwas gettingthehouse,andhewouldthen decidewhattodowithitonceheachieved it.

“That’sthelastthingonmymind.Iwant togetcloserandcloser,andIdon’tknow howlongitwilltake–amonth,ayear,or 10years.I’mjustgoingtokeepgoinguntil Igettoahouse.”
