Battery Powered Alternating Seat Cushion The Sedens 500 is a light weight and versatile battery powered dynamic seat cushion designed specifically to be used in wheel chairs.

Domus 1 A cost effective solution to reducing the risk of pressure ulcers

Domus 1 is ideal for prevention and treatment of patients at low risk of pressure ulcers. This lightweight and compact alternating pressure pad is composed of 130 6.3 cm high interlocking bubble cells, and can be used as an alternative to heavier products such as gel overlay mattresses.

The Domus 1 is an overlay system designed to be used in conjunction with a full thickness foam mattress, it is simply installed on top of the mattress to increase the levels of support for the patient. It works by the individual bubbles of air inflating and deflating to help reduce the amount of pressure being exerted on the patients skin at any one time.

The system is ideal for short term use and easy to install, the Domus 1 comes with an easy to use manual pressure adjustable pump and securing extension flaps, fitted to the head and foot end of the bubble pad to prevent the pad from sliding. The Domus 1 is designed to be a great first line defence against pressure ulcers in both the acute and community sectors.

Pressure Relieving Mattress/Overlay The Domus 3 is a pressure relieving mattress overlay designed predominantly for the community and home care environments.

The Domus 3 can either be used as a mattress overlay or for instances where the combined height of the overlay and existing foam mattress is an issue, a 7.6CM foam layer can be inserted into a specially designed pocket underneath the mattress. This allows it to be used as a stand alone system which will help enable the user comply with safety side height regulations.

The Domus 3 comes with ventilated micro low air loss cells designed to help with air circulation within the mattress, to aid with infection control and patient comfort.

The Domus 3 dynamic mattress system has a simple to use and intuitive weight setting function, enabling the care giver to simply set the mattress up according to the weight of each patient.

The Domus 3 is a highly versatile and cost effective solution to pressure area care. Its modular construction makes it easy to keep clean and maintain, making it suitable for both the prevention and management of pressure ulcers.

CPR: The CPR toggle is located at the head end of the mattress and is designed to be highly visible in an emergency.

Air Cells: The air cells modular design means maintenance, replacement and decontamination are easy to carry out. The center section of the mattress features Ventilated Micro Low Air Loss Cells, which are designed to aid air flow within the mattress to help with patient comfort and infection control.

Head Up Control Panel: The control panel on the Domus 3 is specifically designed to be ergonomic and easy to see without the need for the caregiver to change position when using it.

Product Features and Benefits Alternating Therapeutic Mode: Continuously and sequentially inflates and deflates the air cells to allow for pressure redistribution over a ten minute cycle time.

Low Pressure Alarm: Alerts the caregiver if there is a loss of air pressure in the mattress.

Static Mode: Halts the alternating cycle of the mattress cells so that all cells inflate to the same pressure determined by the patient weight setting. This provides an even surface for the purposes of nursing procedures, after procedures or to act as a step down function before a patient is moved back onto a foam mattress.

Mattress Cover: The cover is flame resistant to BS 7175 Crib 7 and has a host of features to aid with infection prevention including a 360 degree zip, white underside, vapour permeability, antimicrobial properties and is water resistant. The cover is four way stretch to offer greater pressure relief and comfort levels to the patient, it is also possible to launder the cover in a washing machine.

Transport Mode: Transport Mode is designed to be simple and easy to use. Its simple click in design also means it is robust and easy to keep clean.

Antimicrobial Filter: The antimicrobial filter is designed to ensure the air going into the system is as clean as possible, helping to protect the pump from break down and to ensure air stored in the mattress is as clean as possible.

Air Cells: The air cells modular design means maintenance, replacement and decontamination are easy to carry out.

Cell on Cell Technology also means that the patient is safely supported throughout the length of the mattress, and the unique rectangular cell design in the torso section means the patient benefits from higher levels of pressure relief and weight redistribution.

Pro-care Auto:

High Specification Pressure Relieving Dynamic Mattress The Pro-care Auto is a high specification pressure relieving dynamic mattress designed to offer exceptional levels of support in any healthcare environment.

The Pro-care Auto dynamic mattress system automatically calibrates in accordance to the patients weight and position in the bed, eliminating the risk of injury to the patient by the caregiver entering the patients weight incorrectly.

The Pro-care Auto has a range of unique features for both patients and caregivers, and has been designed to comply with the most stringent infection control guidelines. It is suitable for all types of patient from pressure ulcer prevention right the way through to managing the most severe pressure ulcers.

The Pro-care Auto is one of the only mattresses on the market that has a designated heel zone allowing the caregiver to float the heel, meaning they can comply with EPUAP guidelines on pressure ulcer management in the heel area.

Designated Heel Zone: Allows the caregiver to isolate individual air cells in the heel area for 100% pressure offloading, allowing the caregiver to float the heel and comply with EPUAP guidelines relating to pressure ulcer management.

Max Firm Mode: Hyper inflates the cells providing a firm surface for moving, handling and nursing procedures. For the safety of the patient the mattress will only stay in Max Firm Mode for 20 minutes and will then revert back to Alternating Therapeutic Mode.

Auto Adjust: Automatically adjusts the internal cell pressures depending on the individual patients weight and position on the mattress, eliminating the need for the caregiver to manually set the pump to the patients weight.

Power Failure Alarm: Notifies the caregiver when there is a loss of power if the mattress is unplugged.

Alternating Therapeutic Mode: Continuously and sequentially inflates and deflates the air cells to allow for pressure redistribution over a ten minute cycle time.

Static Mode: Addresses areas of high contact pressure by redistributing the body mass over a greater surface area through a process of immersion. The mattress will not stay in the static mode but will revert back to the therapeutic mode after 20 minutes.

Seat Inflate Mode: When a patient is in the upright position, the seat inflate mode increases the pressure throughout the mattress in order to better support the sacral area.

Low Pressure Alarm: Alerts the caregiver if there is a loss of air pressure in the mattress.

Service Fault Indicator: Alerts the caregiver when the mattress needs to be repaired.

Lock Out: Automatically locks the control panel to help prevent the changing of settings inappropriately.

Rectangular Sacral Cell on Cell Design: Unique cell design offers the patient more support and comfort in the Sacral area throughout the therapeutic pressure relieving cycle.

Mattress Cover: The cover is flame resistant to BS 7175 Crib 7 and has a host of features to aid with infection prevention including a 360 degree zip, white underside, vapour permeability, antimicrobial properties and is water resistant.

The cover is four way stretch to offer greater pressure relief and comfort levels to the patient, it is also possible to launder the cover in a washing machine.

High Specification Pressure Relieving Bariatric Mattress The Pro-care Bariatric is a high specification pressure relieving dynamic mattress, designed to offer Bariatric patients exceptional levels of support in any healthcare environment.

The Pro-care Bariatric dynamic mattress comes with an intuitive weight setting system, enabling the caregiver to set the mattress to the patient’s weight between 40 KG and 450 KG at the touch of a button. It is also possible to set the mattress cycle time intervals, enabling the caregiver to step a patient down off the system gradually over time.

The Pro-care Bariatric has a range of unique features for both patients and caregivers, and has been designed to comply with the most stringent infection control guidelines. It is suitable for all types of Bariatric patient from pressure ulcer prevention right the way through to managing the most severe pressure ulcers.

The Pro-care Bariatric is one of the only mattresses on the market that has a designated heel zone allowing the caregiver to float the heel, meaning they can comply with EPUAP guidelines on pressure ulcer management in the heel area.

The Pro-care Bariatric is available in two widths 107 cm and 122 cm

True Low Air Loss Pressure Reducing Mattress System The Serene is a modern and innovative True Low Air Loss mattress system designed for use in both the Acute and Community sectors, offering pressure reduction for patientâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s who are better suited to this type of therapy. The Serene can also help with Micro Climate Management by helping to increase the MVTR rate with its low air loss technology as the pump provides 120 lpm of air flow from the mattress.

The Serene Low Air Loss mattress replacement system provides immersion and envelopment therapy for the patientâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s, which will help to reduce the pressure on the patients body across its whole surface area. The Serene mattress has a heel zone section to help increase immersion and redistribution of pressure around the heel area.

The Serene mattress system has a simple to use and intuitive weight setting function, enabling the nursing staff or care giver to quickly and effectively set the mattress up according to the weight of each patient. The Serene mattress also comes with an innovative cell on cell design offering support to the patient during power failure or transport.

The Serene has a range of unique features for both patients and caregivers, and has been designed to comply with the most stringent infection control guidelines. It is suitable for all types of patient from pressure injury prevention through to managing existing pressure damage.

CPR: The CPR is located at the foot end of the bed making it highly visible and intuitive to use.

Cell on Cell Technology: The innovative cell on cell design offers support to the patient during power failure or transport for up to eight hours.

Air Cells: The Air Cells in the Serene enable the patient to immerse into the mattress allowing the patient to experience True Low Air Loss therapy.

Head Up Control Panel: The control panel on the Serene is specifically designed to be ergonomic and easy to see without the need for the caregiver to change position when using it.

Product features and benefits Weight Setting: The weight setting function on the Serene has been designed to be as simple to use and intuitive for the caregiver as possible, helping to eliminate the risk of incorrect patient weight settings being entered in to the pump.

Max Firm Mode: Hyper inflates the cells providing a firm surface for moving, handling and nursing procedures. For the safety of the patient the mattress will only stay in Max Firm Mode for 20 minutes and will then revert back to Therapeutic Mode.

Two Way Zip: The top mattress cover comes with a Two Way Zip which reduces the risk of ingress of unwanted fluids. The cover can also be completely removed for laundering and replacing if necessary.

Low Pressure Alarm: Alerts the caregiver if there is a loss of air pressure in the mattress.

Power Failure Alarm: Notifies the caregiver when there is a loss of power if the mattress is unplugged.

Fault Alarm Code Indicator: If the mattress does suffer a technical malfunction an audible alarm will sound and a fault code will be displayed to alert the user to the exact fault.

Service Fault Indicator: Alerts the caregiver when the mattress needs to be repaired.

Lock Out: The pump automatically locks the control panel after five minutes to help prevent the changing of settings inappropriately.

Seat Inflate Mode: When a patient is in the upright position, the seat inflate mode increases the pressure throughout the mattress in order to better support the sacral area.

Designated Heel Zone: The Serene has a heel zone section to help increase immersion and redistribution of pressure around the heel area.

Cable Management: The left hand side of the mattress has a cable management system, allowing the power cable to be stored off the floor during operation.

Mattress Cover: The top cover is Crib 5 Fire Retardant and has a host of features to aid with infection prevention that include a 360 degree zip, vapour permeability, fungistatic and antimicrobial properties, water resistance and it is Silver-ion Treated, the cover is also two way stretch to aid with patient comfort.
