What is laser cladding?
Laser cladding is the newest and most effective hard-facing technology, providing a more efficient, cost-effective, reliable and sustainable weld overlay for refurbishing wear parts across a wide range of industries. Unlike traditional hardfacing, laser cladding uses a laser beam as the source of energy instead of an arc to fuse or alloy coating material and the base material together with

minimal heat.
The benefits of having a significantly reduced heat-affected zone ensures no distortion and dilution of the base material, and the coating material retains many of its original properties. This results in coatings with high hardness and excellent wear resistance, corrosion resistance and dimensional control.
