PROJECT 01
CLIMATE CHANGE ADAPTATION IN TINGBJERG
Aalborg University, Copenhagen
Tingbjerg is a neighbourhood of Copenhagen which is undergoing a new re-development in the form of 1500 new homes, all the while there is an existing flooding problem in the city of Copenhagen due to storm surge . Our team developed a proposal to not only address the flooding issue, but to also use urban design as a tool to mend the ghetto problem of Tinbjerg. The design has been developed af ter conducting ‘sensing’ of the area’s inhabitants, their daily lives and habits. After mapping the water regime using scalgo software, the proposed solutions could be implemented strategically where necessary.

PROJECT 02
REBALANCE OF NATURE & CULTURE IN COPENHAGEN
Aalborg University, Copenhagen
The project aimed to answer several key questions: what is considered nature in a city ? What type of nature in the city is beneficial ? How much of this nature do we need in a city? Thanks my background, I analyzed the nature of Copenhagen from a standpoint of urban forestry, and suggested key changes which would increase the benefits of urban greenery for the well-being of citizens. Considering that ‘nature’ is a abstract term, I developed a method to capture the ‘raw’ morphology of the city and differentiate the nature from the culture called ‘controlled drifting’. The method is inspired by the city exploration techniques described by poets and impressionists such as C. Baudelaire, and then was added a systematic ‘twist’ in the form of photography, documenting and post-analysis
IMPACT
Thesis exhibited in Aalborg by the UN of Jutland in Denmark as a promotion of the book “2030 NOW”

MAP
In order to incorporate structure and data in the method, I made notes, tracked movement and mapped the observed areas.

PROJECT 03
URBAN REVITALIZATION OF ZAGREB
Studio 3LHD, Zagreb
The Gredelj project was a true example of turning threats into oppor tunities . The abandoned industrial zone in the center of Zagreb has occupied has for years only obstructed free flow through the city, but now offered an opportunity for the first systematic town plan ning in a long time. Therefore, studio 3LHD and partners developed a revitalization plan and vision for this previously barren area.
14
THREAT
After the earthquake in March, 2020, it became obvious that Zagreb needs to address the long-decaying industrial facilities of the city centre.
HOLISTIC APPROACH
Apart of the architectural concept, we developed evaluations for the cultural and economic potentials of the entire city.
OPPORTUNITY
The earthquake was leveraged as an opportunity to centralize all public insti tutions , redevelop sustainable transport and build back the economy.

PROJECT 03
URBAN REVITALIZATION OF ZAGREB
Studio 3LHD, Zagreb
IMPACT
The project has been submitted to the City of Zagreb and the gov ernment as a proposal and vision of a complete redevelopment of Croatia’s capital. The project has since been accepted, and legal changes in the GUP are underway in order for remediation of the site to begin. Moreover, funds have been granted by the EBRD to the city of Zagreb for this regeneration, where the vision created by 3LHD and partners will have the central role
16
TRANSPORT HUB
Considering the bad connection between the north and south of the city, the 45ha-large area would serve perfectly as a transport hub, given its unique position in the city center.
PIONEER
The project has become the first mixed-use development of its kind in Zagreb, paving the way for new methods of planning in Croatia.
