Dads Club The AOS Dads Club had another successful and fun year! For the fifteenth year in a row, the Dads Club continued to provide additional funding and support to the School’s programs. This year, they contributed over $40,000 to the school, ending the year with an account balance of $72,000. In 2018-2019, they helped fund a large format video projector for the Steve G. Caloudas Activity Center and artificial turf in the middle school recess area. They also continue to provide annual contributions to the School and the Jimmy Pappas Fund, with the remaining funds being saved for future school requests. In addition to their generous financial support, the Dads Club provides opportunities to gather dads, make new friends, and strengthen the AOS community. Dads Club 2018-2019 event highlights include:
Golf Tournament held on December 3, 2018 at Braeburn Country Club Funds raised: $37,770 Highlights: 114 golfers and 21 sponsorships
Annual BBQ Cook-off held on March 30, 2019 Highlights: 10th Annual Event with 10 teams competing Winning Team: Sharks R Us, led by Alumni Parent, Charles Koerth, and Stewart Gagnon
Sporting Clay Shoot held on May 21, 2019 Funds raised: $32,450 Highlights: 5th Annual event that continues to grow! This year’s event had 20 teams, six sponsors and the raffle raised nearly $5,000.
