Envisioning a model street where roads are more approachable to the people rather than vehicles. Redesigned a street falling in institutional zone by re-routing the traffic to designated roads, while providing connectivity with BRTS and upcoming metro station. Tactical planning & designing approaches included Prioritising pedestrians, cyclists, lowering vehicular speeds, improved crossings, spaces to learn- hangout, timely restrictions on heavy vehicles, along with suitable selection of material. In collaboration with Chetan Sodaye, Nivedita Kulkarni, Forum Shah, Alap Kolambe, Gargee Das and Vishal Rajput. Guided by Abhijit Lokre, Sandeep Paul & Sarang Pingale.
