I conceptualise my projects with historic, cultural and current climate significance. Hence, my forms tend to take a more vernacular statement to further my emphasis on purity. This is under the influence of various art movements and pioneers, in both the past and the present, governed by the experience I have accumulated so far, home and abroad.

My flexibility is not limited to skills alone; I am also open to new ideas and perspectives. I thrive in ever-changing environments and embrace challenges as opportunities for growth. This willingness tolearn and evolve ensures that I stay current and remain a forward-thinking contributor. My strong communication skills allow me to bridge gaps and foster collaboration, ensuring effective teamwork and successful outcomes.

Longére

Location: Taillan-Medoc, France

Project type: Interior Architecture

The remainder of the house is not in good shade and needs a complete interior change due to the aged wooden interior. The location of the building itself is surrounded by plush green and gets plenty of light.

Adjacent to the house is Renault workshop. This is to be taken into consideration since the noise generated may affect the client. Privacy is also a concern.

Site and Analysis

Front face of building

From the Sunpath diagram we can understand that the maximum heat will constantly absorbed of the front face of the main house and the wall facing East. Due to the presence of some vegetation the heat on the walls is slightly reduced. Also while creating ideas for rennovation we can accomodate the surrounding. To help with not just the ambiance but to combat the heat all together.

The longére, French for barn house, a tradition european structure originally used to store farm animals along side residence. Noticable characteristics include gabled truss roof, traditional materials such as timber and stone (clay and straw in respectively older findings). Our brief was to provide a rennovation for a family of four with

A prominent object in this building that has been preserved well is a stone wall that runs the entire lenght of the longere. I used it symbolically as a lanter that would have priorly been used to fill the space. This ambiently lights up the entire house and lets natural light connect from one facade to another.

The Longére is a building that was primarily used as a stable for horses. This particular one spans a length of 21m and 10m in width. My design language is to emphasise on the unconventional dimensions when comparing to a regular house by creating paths that tread across its span. The center of attention being the kitchen that ties the entire living space together.

Couloir du Bressoux 02

In the sub-municipality of Bressoux lies Rue du Moulin, the point of interest in this project brief. This street highlights a segregated community of immigrants (primarily Moroccans and Syrians) that have taken their place among pre-existing Christian inhabitants.

Rue du Moulin through my own eyes felt like a traditional town that has been slightly neglected, and the right architectural input could provide an opportunity for local inhabitants to stich the current collage community together to live more in the direction of one community.

Site and Analysis

The selected area creates a corridor space that I imagine people could walk through if made public. My biggest issue with this space was accessibility, since it was private. However, the information I gathered helped me work around this obstacle.

A corridor predetermines the destination, just like the monotonous nature of rue du moulin. The intention with this idea was to give life to the space sustainably and in a manner that is inviting

Design and Strategy

Given that during working days we only get a fraction of time to have a glance at objects or a peek at a piece of art that interest us, my goal is to have these elements aimed at boosting morale of the neighbourhood that it is a part of. To improve the quality of social life and add life to the surrounding environment. I hope to accomplish this for people passing through my proposed space, for people who can take a minute to have a glance at it from a distance and those who can take the time to experience it.

BIM REMODELLING STUDY

Mosae Forum REbake 03

As I approach Building Information Management, I decided to pick a subject where could implement both my design language and technical capabilities. Thus, concluded with Mosae Forum, which is a multi purpose building (primarily office space/commercial) in the heart of Maastricht, Netherlands, built by Jo Coenen in 2007. On a daily basis I had and still walk past this building, I have seen it under different skies lights and occasions.

Kirche-Küche 04

A monolith that rises above the rest of its neighboring buildings, rather unusual in my eyes given its architectural simplicity. With the absence of any external ornamentation, the white exterior speaks for its age and historic significance. It creates an incredible contrast to the surrounding buildings with the bell tower being the highest point. The architectural language of Rudolph Scwartz speaking of modernism and its controversy for the time it was conceived is beautifully anchored in white render.

A kitchen to me is always the heart of a home, it keeps the inhabitants operational and spreads warmth (literally and figuratively). After a recent visit to Bokrijk (Belgium) I understood the vast difference in the way a home in the west operated to that in India in the medieval age. One of the houses I visited in Bokrijk had two kitchens, one commercial and the other personal. The plan of the house is establishes to have a domestic kicthen and a commercial kitchen .The commercial kicthen was ued to produce butter that was old in the local market. Both kitchens had a furnace that shared one wall and one chimney outlet.
