The factory provides a healthy alternative of escape from the physical and mental struggles in life, using art and music alongside support from community as a coping strategy to deal with everyday challenges. The programme incorporates activities which stimulates an individual mentally and physically to give a sense of release and feel recharged as they experience the spaces.
The issue of drug abuse has been consuming Glasgow for decades. The main focus group of the centre are the adolescence struggling with mental health issues who tend to resolve to drugs as a form of escapism.
The factory ultimately aims to prevent these vulnerable groups from drug usage and raise awareness around the subject through the programmes and exhibition spaces. As some or other way most of the genre goes through some form of Behavioral addictions.

Religion has the power to foster peace, define right vs wrong, to bring people together, shaping a community, giving it a Purpose - an Identity. Contradicting, it also can divide, initiate conflicts, create differences among varying beliefs leading to lesser interactions - to lack in pluralistic dialogues.
In this pluralistic environment, it can be said religion has a large influence on the behaviour of the society and also on political views.Difference in belief system influences violence - forming rifts between different faiths, leading to conflicts. This phenomenon can be resolved through instilling tolerance through encouraging continuous dialogue with others, building trust and creating a union.
The thesis proposes Religion as a force, in the undercurrent contemporary conflict which has the power to nullify its effect. Architecturally, bridging the sacredness of the place of worship to the place of dialogue, a building as a symbol of Tolerance, even with the varying beliefs.

In our team of 15, we were tasked with designing a ferrocement parabolic arch. We used layers of wire mesh as reinforcement, which was key to maintaining the integrity of the ferrocement arch. The mesh provided tensile strength while the cement mortar handled compressive forces.
A critical part of the construction was designing the formwork to mold the parabolic shape. We opted for a reusable, lightweight formwork that could support the weight of the wet mortar.
