Why CSEB (Compressed Stabilised Earth Block)?
Compressed Stabilised Earth Blocks (CSEB) are a compelling choice for construction in communities like Kumbharwada, especially for a pottery community. The potters already have a deep understanding of working with earth, making the transition to using CSEB more intuitive. Earth is readily available locally, reducing the cost and environmental impact associated with transporting materials. involvement

Tray to pour water in
Control Unit
In the early morning, you can pour water into an overhead tray designed to aid in natural cooling. This tray is connected to a control unit that would regulate both the distribution and flow of the water. The control unit ensures the water is evenly spread across the tray, optimizing the cooling effect. As the water flows from the overhead tray, it is directed downwards and eventually collects in a lower water collection tray. This system allows for efficient use of water, maximizing the cooling potential as it moves through the setup.

Factory of Escape
Project Type: M.Arch Year 5 Project
Duration: 10 weeks
The factory provides a healthy alternative of escape from the physical and mental struggles in life, using art and music alongside support from community as a coping strategy to deal with everyday challenges. The programme incorporates activities which stimulates an individual mentally and physically to give a sense of release and feel recharged as they experience the spaces. The issue of drug abuse has been consuming Glasgow for decades. People with mental health issues and difficult upbringing turn to drugs as a form of escapism in order to escape from the real world, to the safety and comfort of a fantasy world.
The main focus group of the centre are the adolescence struggling with mental health issues who tend to resolve to drugs as a form of escapism. The factory ultimately aims to prevent these vulnerable groups from drug usage and raise awareness around the subject through the programmes and exhibition spaces. As some or other way most of the genre goes through some form of Behavioral addictions. The factory being an escape, would also be a place of acknowledgment of effects, harm and to find one’s own answer.

Architecture as a narrative to valuing differences in Faith
Project Type: B.Arch Thesis Project
Duration: 17 weeks
Religion has the power to foster peace, define right vs wrong, to bring people together, shaping a community, giving it a Purpose - an Identity. Contradicting, it also can divide, initiate conflicts, create differences among varying beliefs leading to lesser interactions - to lack in pluralistic dialogues.
In this pluralistic environment, it can be said religion has a large influence on the behaviour of the society and also on political views.Difference in belief system influences violence - forming rifts between different faiths, leading to conflicts. This phenomenon can be resolved through instilling tolerance through encouraging continuous dialogue with others, building trust and creating a union.
The thesis proposes Religion as a force, in the undercurrent contemporary conflict which has the power to nullify its effect. Architecturally, bridging the sacredness of the place of worship to the place of dialogue, a building as a symbol of Tolerance, even with the varying beliefs.
