Every SME in India has used or atleast knows about Tally.ERP 9 which is a business management and accounting software. You can pay a one time fee ranging from 18,000 to 60,000 and purchase the license after which you can use the software for as many years as you want. The only catch here is the Tally software services.

What is Tally software services?

Tally software services (TSS) also called Tally.net subscription (TNS) is an annual fee or subscription that you pay and renew after which you can enjoy many services from Tally solutions in Tally software.

Now the question that arises is what happens if we do not renew our Tally.Net subscription?

So here are the complete detailed features that you may miss out if you’re a Tally.ERP 9 user without a valid Tally software services (TSS).

Product updates Tally.ERP 9 is updated from time to time to make it compatible with the prevailing rules and regulations. For eg. there are changes being made in the GST rules and regulations.

For the software to be compatible with GST it has to be updated. If you do not have a valid Tally.Net Subscription, you may miss out on these updates and you will have to use an outdated software which is not recommendable.

Tally anywhere anytime The biggest update provided by Tally this year was the Tally anywhere anytime reporting which allows users to access Tally reports through browser using their Tally.Net ID and password. A very useful feature. The users with valid TSS got the feature while the ones who did not have valid TSS, had to renew their TSS to get this feature.
