4Dhamma Sacca, like all Vipassana centres are supported by donations from old students and the voluntary work of teachers and students.

Could mean: 4Helping in the kitchen 4Course coordination 4Keeping the centre clean and tidy.

All servers: 4Meditate 3 hours daily 4Have a meeting each evening with teachers and assistants to discuss the day and prepare for the next.

Work periods 4Dhamma Sacca offers courses all year around.

4The days between courses are very busy, preparing the centre for the next students.

4Several times a year the centre plans a few days for general maintenance: gardening, repairs to the building, painting, cleaning, etc.

4These are called “work periods” and are shown in the general calendar on the web.

4General life at the centre continues during these special periods, with 3 hours meditation, and the chance to enjoy videos and audios about Dhamma in the evenings.

Living in Dhamma Sacca 4Some students serve in management and maintenance at the centre for a long period of time (weeks, several months,even for a year).

4Servers meditate at least 3 hours daily. They have a special schedule, with free days and holidays.

4Periods of service are interspersed with sitting courses.

Taking part in Committees 4Many of the committees tasks can be done from home in your own time; Enrolment, technology, design and layout, translation, etc.

4Each committee has a coordinator and the support of an assistant teacher.

4Some periodic tasks require attendance at the centre, for example the Dhamma and Dana tables, kitchen day 0 and enrolment. Committees have their own calendars for these tasks.
