Members of Tea Leaf Club International (TLCI) are anxiously awaiting the launch of a new online informational site which will serve as a paperless handbook of all things Tea Leaf. Development of the site has been in process for months, producing a comprehensive guide to help collectors identify and recognize the many body styles, motifs, potters, and characteristics of the popular decorated ironstone. Target date for the launch of this exciting new source of information is Tuesday, March 1. When available, visitors will be able to view many photos of representative pieces and learn more about the history and development of Tea Leaf through the years. Cross-referencing will allow better access for comparisons. For example, calling up information on sugar bowls will bring up photos of many pieces in various body styles and by different potters. This will help in initial identification of a particular

piece. Then, using the link from a photo, one can bring up more information on that style and potter. The new site and its wealth of information will be available free of charge to non-members, too. TLCI members know that there are many people who may have Tea Leaf in their possession but have never known much about its age and history. The club hopes that visiting this site will stimulate interest, and encourage others to join in the study and appreciation for Tea Leaf.
