Online round-up Have you seen our new playlist? We've compiled a selection of links to online audio and video covering Christianity Explored, from interviews with staff to clips from courses running worldwide. Watch a ninety-minute interview and phone-in question session with Rico Tice on Genesis TV, or Dan Green interviewing Nate on Soul at the CRE Exhibition in Esher. Pastors can listen to Craig Dyer's talks on expository preaching from last year's Expositors' Conference in Edinburgh, Scotland. Or be inspired by a creative course invitation video from New Zealand! There's something for everyone at http://www.christianityexplored.org/resources/playlist/ And here's the latest on our social media profile: - since the last CE-Mail, we’ve gained 60+ new Twitter followers - CE has now reached nearly 200 members on Facebook - the Soul teaser trailer on YouTube has had over 1500 viewings Viewer Matt said after watching the Soul trailer, "Exciting new resource. I look forward to using it, this has been long awaited and will be a fantastic and edgy resource for use with the CY course.” Training It has been a great couple of months since last we wrote with the launch of the formal German translation over two weekends in Munich and Bremen respectively, and also the Polish translation launch event in Krakow.

Dear friends, Last week, Brad and Paul were manning a CE booth at a conference in Florida where they heard a speaker explain why Christians need to hear the Gospel again and again. His point was that, even though we belong to Christ, we are still sinners. That got Paul thinking – those of us who are privileged to share the Gospel with the world (through CE) get to hear it for ourselves over and over as we share. Each of us is strengthened and encouraged in our own walk – what a loving God we serve.

look forward to Saturday 4th September when several city churches will gather in Logies Church of Scotland in Dundee. Ahead of that, there are great opportunities to promote CE at Keswick Portstewart Convention, the Edinburgh Expositors Conference and with the All Souls Orchestra during their Prom Praise Scotland tour in Perth, Glasgow, Ayr, Inverness and Aberdeen. Prison ministry The prison ministry welcomes onboard Gillian Pegler (pictured right) to the CE team who will be starting at the end of June. Gillian will work alongside Stephen and Daylight Christian Prison Trust (Daylight CPT) to strengthen the development of the CE course and the training and delivery in a prison context. We also hope Gillian will be able to build relationships with the women’s prisons and to introduce the Christianity Explored course. Please pray for Gillian as she hopes to give 2 years to CE.

Stephen and Sarah Scott (fund raising and communications manager) from Daylight CPT will be running a presentation of the work that Daylight is doing and a workshop on how to run a Christianity Explored course in a prison context at the COPE UK Conference at Balamaha, Stirlingshire, June 22-25. We would value your prayers that more opportunities to train others would begin to open now that the team has a good 2 years’ experience with running the course in prisons. We are getting positive feedback we are getting from Chaplains and participants in the South Wales region. Here is one story of encouragement: at a weekly course in HMP Cardiff, one participant arrived at the course then got up and walked out halfway through the session, returning with a ‘Real Jesus’ booklet. He said, “This booklet is what persuaded me to come to this course.” He then matched it up with the front cover of the study guide and said, “Are these the same?” Stephen confirmed that they are the same and the participant then said, “This booklet is one of the best things I have read on the Christian faith and it made complete sense, and that is why I came on this course.” This man has grown so much over the weeks and it has been a privilege to see the quality teaching that Christianity Explored brings to those in prison to change them. The grace that God continues to lavish upon us never ceases to amazes us. CY We've just finished the first part of our Soul 2010 tour of the UK! Though the ash cloud meant that we've had to postpone our trip to Northern Ireland, we've been really encouraged by visiting people across England, Scotland and Wales. It has been uplifting to hear people comment that the DVD was "perfect" for their situation, that there should be "a copy in every church and school around the country" and that they were "very thankful that Christianity Explored had produced such a fantastic resource". The other encouragement came from those who had already used CY and had young people come to faith in Jesus as they had opened Mark's Gospel. We pray that CY courses and Soul would be used by God for his glory. Also... Pray for Barry who has rejoined the team as he works on screenplays for a new DVD. There are 10 to complete over the next 8 weeks, so pray that the Spirit will guide Barry's writing. Grateful thanks . . . . . . from the whole team for your continued support of the work of CE.
