Ledge, a CBSE school for children from KG to12th grade, nestles of a serene hillside far from the bustling city. Embracing the land’s natural contours, the school’s design harmonizes with the undulating terrain , creating a tranquil and captivating experience for the children where the very earth shapes their learning adventure.

Softwares Used :

The school unfolds in five distinct blocks; kindergarten, primary High school, senior secondary and auditorium. Cascading like steps on the hillside, where each roof serves as a ground for the Next. The kindergarten stands apart, a two-story structure ensuring safety and privacy for the little ones. The classrooms here opens to its own play area enriching the children’s school experience with joy and freedom.

Each class in the school branches into four divisions. The administration resides alongside the primary block. The high school block houses a shared library and canteen, conveniently accessible to all. The senior secondary block crowns the top of the structure.

Every blocks adorned with open spaces and courtyard, inviting students to gather and relax. At the downhill base of the site, a sports complex and a 2000 seat auditorium welcomes all. Each rooms in the school designed with ample cross ventilation, ensures comfortable and inspiring learning environment.

Type : Installation

Thrissur Round, Kerala

Aloft is an installation project located in the heart of the bustling Thrissur town. The structure, due to its unique sinuous geometry evokes curiosity among the visitors. It act as a resting and interactive space for the people of the city, strengthing communal values and principles.

Softwares Used :

The form is developed from the abstraction of the vegetable garlic. Numerous amount of layers and folds found in the same inspires the design, which resulted in a structure which alofts in the air. The design is completely flexible and open, allowing to viewers to maintain visual continuity and hence blending with the surrounding cityscape.

Cascade.

Type : Restaurant

Semester 3

Site Area : 1138 sqm

East Fort, Thrissur, Kerala

Cascade, a restaurant designed to provide a unparalleled dining experience to the customers boasts its unique interiors and exteriors. A play of solid and void is evident in the form, brought together by using glass panels and bricks. Since the structure is located in a busy neighborhood, the voluminous facade really stands out, making a landmark. The parametric ceiling that sweep across the ceiling add depth and character to the interiors.

Softwares Used :

The restaurant provides seating for up to 120 guests across family, couple, and outdoor dining areas, complemented by an outdoor café space seamlessly integrated into the design. Utilizing a combination of brick, concrete, and glass fiber reinforced concrete, the structure exudes durability and aesthetic appeal. A separate service entry discreetly located on the right side of the premises ensures smooth operations. The distinctive architectural form serves as a compelling draw, enticing visitors into the establishment.

Arc is a residential project in Palakkad, Kerala thoughtfully tailored to fulfill the desires and dreams of a family of four.

The house is crafted in kerala vernacular style weaves traditional materials and craftsmanship with modern techniques fostering sustainability and creating a harmonious union with the surrounding natural landscape

Softwares Used :

Each bedroom features a balcony offering breathtaking vistas of serene fields and landscapes, creating a peaceful and scenic atmosphere for relaxation and enjoyment.

Dining and living rooms adorned with semi-open garden spaces inviting nature’s essence into the heart of the house.

The house benefits from effective cross-ventilation and arc shaped walls that help reduce heat gain ensuring a comfortable and pleasant living space for residents.
