Design to build As a full service provider we can handle the complete process from creative development and prototyping through to installation and full fit out.
How do we achieve this? We agree with our clients from the onset the nature of the contract agreement, the cost parameters and programme. We aim to challenge the design brief and reduce project timescales by accelerating delivery programmes. We make use of some of the industry’s best manufacturing sources and improve the supply chain management. Our design process in most cases can be divided into five specific phases; discovering, conceptualising, developing, defining and delivering.

Graphics
Developing Design development of the broad concept. Completion of all working drawings / artwork, incorporating where necessary all related design work of other consultants. Completion of all schedules. Finalisation of all tender documentation.
The resulting design is finalised and launched in the relevant market. The key activities and objectives during this stage are: • Final testing, approval and launch • Evaluation
We have a team of graphic designers available to you who specialise in branding. Blacks
Our relationship with Blacks started in 2008 when we were appointed to work on the new Millets store contract. Following on from this project, we were selected to undertake the rapid fit out of several sites in the new Blacks "Cool Air" format.

Browns
Following our successful design and installation of the cosmetics department, we were asked to redesign and relocate further departments on the ground floor of this prestigious department store.
We created a customer experience making it easier to shop, added a sense of glamour and style to shopping for handbags, accessories and lingerie, whilst producing a much more defined core ladieswear division.

De Gruchy menswear
JSA have been appointed by the Ulster Stores Group to re-design and refurbish the unique de Gruchy department store in Jersey. The development is programmed to be completed over a 3 year period.
The newly refurbished menswear department sits within a spectacular yet understated backdrop. Included in the 7000 sq ft area are concessions for Hugo Boss, Gant, Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren. de Gruchy, Jersey interior colours are
simple off whites, accented with rich walnut and natural finishes. The new luxurious materials and design provides a scheme which is confident and contemporary with stunning effects.

Glasswells
JSA was asked by Glasswells to transform a 37,000 sq ft former Courts furniture store into a new 73,000 sq ft furniture retail showroom. The 70's style existing building has received a total facelift with the addition of a new retail mezzanine floor.
New customer facilities include a design centre offering valuable advice on colours and product coordination, table-service restaurant, a meeting room available for up to 12 people, and a children’s ‘Playzone’.

M&Co.
M&Co established in 1834, is one of the country's largest privately-owned retailers in the UK, operating 300 value clothing and homeware stores across the UK.
Jamieson Smith Associates was selected to expand and redesign its portfolio of existing and newly acquired stores. Our task was to develop a series of distinct and inspirational store components employed to refresh the brands existing concept.
It was important for the design to allow for evolution and be easily translated across all the store sizes, with theatre and excitement being incorporated within the retailer's top stores.

OSPREY LONDON
OSPREY LONDON by Graeme Ellisdon, the English luxury leather brand, appointed JSA to design and build their new outlet enterprise. While most outlet owners typically invest the bare minimum in store design, for OSPREY LONDON it was essential to provide a premium retail experience.
The store design captures the interplay of an English formal style with something warmer, quirkier and individual which is the essence of the OSPREY LONDON style.

Rossiters Cardiff
Design-led Furniture and Homewares store Rossiters of Cardiff opened its doors in September 2007. The store occupies a two-floor, 14,000 sq ft unit formerly part of the historic David Morgan building.
JSA were appointed having previously worked with the client on other retail projects. The brief was to recreate the unique shopping experience found in their popular Bath store into this new build at Cardiff.
This flagship scheme makes use of materials such as rich walnut timbers, hand finished wall paintings and bespoke fixturing, developing a contemporary and chic atmosphere.
