This class could easily be called “How to Never Pay for Jewellery Again!” Everything you never thought you needed to know about working with wire. Make your own findings, save money, and make your creations truly unique. This is an “all about wire” class. We will tackle various techniques and you will learn to make jump rings, head and eye pins, ear wires, and make bead dangles and spiral charms. At the end of the class you will be able to construct a necklace, bracelet, and earring from start to finish with nothing but wire, hand tools, and a few beads. We will also explore finishing techniques such as a basic patina using Liver of Sulphur and polishing using a tumbler. Now you can truly customize your jewellery, as well as save money on basic findings. No previous knowledge with wire is required.

Create a unique focus piece for a necklace or ring with glass. A cabochon is usually a gemstone which has been shaped and polished as opposed to faceted, which results in a smooth glassy surface with a flat back.
