Introducing Aiphone’s feature-rich IX-SOFT PC Master Station Software, the latest product addition to the versatile IX Series Peer-to-Peer IP Video Intercom.
This software allows the security features of an IX Series intercom to be controlled directly from a computer.
The USB dongle provides the full intercom experience while taking up zero additional desk space. Without compromising features, the easy-to-use IX-SOFT has an intuitive interface that provides flexibility for a variety of business settings, small or large.
Using a desktop or laptop computer, your customers can:
• Identify call locations from an interactive map
• Use map layering to zoom into target areas (entire campus, a building, or a room)
• Select and drag to initiate group calls, page, or monitor activity as needed
• Broadcast messages or alerts to individuals or groups
• Record video conversations to support criminal investigations

The IX-SOFT PC Master Station Software is ideal for the common user in everyday situations, yet also perfect for the savvy guard overseeing an entire security operations center.
Frictionless setup of a credential eliminates the need to physically interact with the security team or visit a badging office. Users can manage credentials, photos and devices remotely. Employees can complete a questionnaire on their smartphone. Upon successful completion, their physical access card or mobile credential will operate for a specified period. If the form is not completed successfully, the card will expire. The forms can be customized and can operate on a configurable schedule. For example,
an organization can require its employees to complete the form every morning before reporting for work or by a selected time of day. The solution also includes email notifications, which can be sent to the employee’s manager for visibility.
The Return to Work questionnaire’s functionality within Symmetry Mobile operates
independently from the access control readers and can be used on virtually any existing Symmetry Access Control system installation — and without any local infrastructure changes. Symmetry Mobile also operates with Symmetry Blue Bluetooth readers, supporting organizations that are transitioning to a fully mobile access control solution. Organizations can phase in Symmetry Blue readers to minimize disruption while modernizing the user experience. Watch the video.
