SIEGER’S CLAIM TO FAME • 31

At times Jessie should consider herself lucky that Kaj is as stubborn as she is. Otherwise they might have missed having Olsen and all of her virtues. Ole, as she is fondly called, is a dog with brains and speed. Which definitely spoke to Kaj. At the same time she is a dog that took her time to mature and only started to look presentable well into the junior class. Which didn’t exactly speak to Jessie. Her hunting instinct was impossible to overlook and was the reason why Kaj put her foot down and that is how Olsen stayed in Birgittelyst. Which none of them probably have ever regretted. Olsen has passed tracking trial and shows good abilities when it comes to hunting. At the same time she has won one title after another on a variety of shows and has already shown great potential as a brood bitch. All that at the age of 3. Olsens most shining moment to this date was at the European show in Budapest 2008. Judge Mrs. Ann Ingram (Ireland) made Olsen Best of Opposite as well as Best of Breed junior. When in Best of Group junior she took BOG2. Her full list of merits is: DKCH(U) KLBCH NORDV08 KBHV09 EUJW08 HJCH – but undoubtedly there are more coming her way.
