PRIMARY SCHOOL IN ANDREJSALA
sping/summer 2023, 6th semester
Dr.arch. Edgars Bondars, Mg. arch. Egons Berzins Riga Technical University
Building of the primary and secondary school ,designed to the plot in an industrial area in Riga. The concept of the building is given by my idea to allow and to move in a round because I know how kids love it. Due to that, a spacious outside atrium takes place in the building. The volume contains two buildings - one wider and lower for older pupils, and the second narrower and higher for lower grade. The volumes are not separated, they are intersecting, and offering safe space to each group. They can either meet or not, as they want. There are many places where to rest in the school. To sit, play, chill, and do something else than studying. As I wanted to show the importance of the light in the building, The facade has two layers - a glass curtain wall, and to help the building get included in the environment of the port. Huge storage buildings, cranes and tall brick chimneys.

WASHING THE BORDER AWAY
(defining and solving problem in Dvůr Kráové nad Labem)
winter 2022/2023, 5th semester internship in urbanism studio of doc. Ing. arch. Radek Kolařík on FAA
In the Dvůr Králové town, we each found a theme that we found the most problematic.
I focused on the River Elbe and its surroundings. The Dvůr Králové town has never had a strong relationship with the river, mainly because of the history of when the banks of the river have always been surrounded by factories dyeing textiles that polluted the river.
The surroundings of the River Elbe are now filled with small barriers, that make this environment hostile, broken and not very pleasant to stay.
As a result, this territory is not used by humans to spend time, but only to move and transfer. In my work, I design these selected obstacles remove and help create a public space in which city dwellers will want to spend their time.

TWO WORLDS ALTERNATING OR ONE SETTLED?
(urban plan of Dvory district in Carlsbad) spring 2022, 4th semester internship in urbanism studio of doc. Ing. arch. Radek Kolařík on FAA
Dvory area is a former military complex, and now, the area has the function of administration of the whole Carlsbad region. When the working hours end, the area becomes a ghost town. The concept of my project was two completely different scripts for its future.
The first is regular. Build there buildings and bring to the area other functions, then only work. Living, culture, and civic facilities. Built there bubble of people who don‘t need any other part of the city.
The second scenario was to keep buildings and area how is it now and, give them new functions when it‘s no working hours and there are no people. Parks should become theatre stages, and places for yoga lectures, flat rooftops should become bars and places for discussions. Carlsbad would finally have some cultural spaces.
Both scenarios are the starting point for a deeper exploration of the potential territory, this is more about utopian/dystopian visions, not something that should implement.

NON PLACES
winter 2021, 3rd semester studio MgA. Petra
VlachynskáPhD. & doc M. A. Jan Stolín
I am fascinated by the phenomenon of nonplaces in the cities. They are present everywhere and nobody pays attention to them. I was discovering where they are mostly, what they have in common and where they arise often. After this research, I chose one of those places - the loop on the final station of a tram in Liberec. To point this phenomenon out, I made an intervention - a small hill, which could be used as valuable public space. This hill had also a small hole on the top. The concept was also to follow the topography of the landscape around this city.

RIPPLE
spring 2021, 2nd semester, FAA studio MgA. Richard Loskot & MgA. Jaroslav Prokeš PhD.
Installation Ripple is inspired by phenomenon I‘ve always been fascinated - natural shadow&light play.
During my experiments with white fabric and shadowplay, i found out that also wind is doing interesting effect. So that installation balancing on the edge of sculpture and city furniture was created.
You can enter it , you can touch it or just watch it
It may be that with this object you won‘t know whether to go around it, if you can go in, or just observe it. Either way, a fine white fabric will surround you that something fascinating is going to happen to all the time.

ILUMINATION
autumn 2021, wining an Open call POKOJE 2021 collaboration with Kája Sedláčků

This installation was a part of the art student exhibition Pokoje in Prague after applying to an open call. We took old broken lightbulbs and put a circle made of reflective thread on them, which means that they shine again but only when an external light source hits them. The theme of the exhibition is „wit“, and the lightbulbs are in a way like ideas, brought to life only by human interest, and dying when that interest turns away.

MECHECHE

spring 2020, happening, 4th semestr FAA
I was involved in a cycle of temporary exhibitions in which it was commissioned to respond to the space of our 50-meter open space school studio. The day of my intervention was the day of my birthday.
I did not interpret the environment of our studio as a physical space, but rather a mental one. The way people are connected in it, the way they communicate with each other, and the relationships they have.
I disrupted his kind of everydayness by throwing my birthday party in the middle of it. All the way.
Kitsch decorations, redecorated cake, glittering cards, and there was singing Happy Birthday.
It created a rather unusual situation, as I‘d just hit the bachelor thesis colloquia, going only a few yards from the celebration.

SOMETHING DOESN´T FIT THERE
winter 2021, 1st semester studio MgA. Petra Vlachynská PhD., doc M. A. Jan Stolín, MgA. & Richard Loskot & MgA. & Jaroslav Prokeš PhD.
Design for temporary installation on the outside gallery called Experimental wall at the bus station in Liberec.
I put elements of street furniture in unexpected poses to make people waiting at the station think about it and maybe interact with the installation. Sometimes we tend to take quality public space in cities for granted, and my thought was pointing out it is not a matter of course.
What better to do while waiting for the bus?

THIRD
winter 2021, 1st semester studio MgA. Petra Vlachynská PhD.,doc M. A. Jan Stolín, MgA. Richard Loskot & MgA. & Jaroslav Prokeš PhD.
As part of the assignment to create a composition of basic shapes, I designed an installation in the underpass of Prague‘s Smíchov railway station.
Three deep yellow stripes guide a person entering the underpass directly to the third platform.

I’m always trying to capture some unique moments in my photographies. No matter if Iam taking pic of building or human. I make difference between what I am capturing on my -analogue camera and my digital one. I’m searching for beauty in unusual things and everyday life.

STAGE DESIGN since
