The second project from my third year was a collaborative effort where we explored traditional and contemporary Japanese architectural styles, in the Asakusa District of Tokyo. This Cultural Center has shades from different geographies in different time belts and cultural settings of the Japanese mainland.
Shin-gyo-so , as a concept that can help us uniformly comprehend different styles and forms to tie the society with the traditional history which is the heart of the center.
The centre of the Cultural center lies the heart of the Japanese culture, serving as a beacon of hope nd unity Sakura, the National tree of Japan It acts as the centre of attraction for all the people with waterbodies and pathways around

The center depicts the fusion and the connection of both the old traditional Japanese architecture and the new era with the vernacular materials and the modern polycarbonates.
03 DIVYA Center for Inclusive Learning, R&D

Titled 'Divya', conceptualized with the theme 'Bohurupri- Addressing the Multiplicity', is a 36 hr design. The proposal is a work pod for specially abled people for inclusive learning, research & development. Designs have a special focus on the users with a variety of visual, hearing, speech, physical, & learning realities to enable them to carry out their trades and further develop with the support of a larger community.
An innovative form of tactile flooring has been done to allow users to feel the floors so as to understand the direction of movement.

Adopting the form of hexagon for the following reasons:
(i) Represents the six facets of human sesnsing
(ii) More options for modular expansions
(iii) 120 degrees softer angles in comparison to sharp right angles of a rectangle
